Chaos Tunnels

Chaos Tunnels

Recent earthquakes have opened rifts in the areas north of Edgeville, and the townsfolk have sent out explorers to discover what lies below. Setting ropes down so others can follow them, these explorers have disappeared, leaving no trace. It has fallen to you to enter these Chaos Tunnels, where the laws of physics do not break, but bend into all sorts of strange and curious shapes.

Have a care to arm yourself well and take a means of quick escape, as the Tunnels are treacherous and deadly, and it should be noted that dragons reside here. The creatures of the Chaos Tunnels have learned the value of attacking in numbers, and will not hesitate to join forces in an attempt to eat, destroy or even set fire to those who cross their paths.

It is not only the creatures that throw obstacles in your way. The portals that link the various tunnels are infused with chaos, and have a tendency to send you to the strangest of locations!

The Chaos Tunnels are multicombat, and an ideal place for the stout of heart and strong of body to hone their Summoning skills, as well as their Magic, Ranged or melee. A warning to you: although you may wish to attempt the dungeon alone, death will come swiftly to the ill-prepared!

Psycological Trading..a New Way To Look At It
Well, all of you probably do some merchanting, but more likely …sell/buy/trade. These are
common acts of merchanting, but there is
another way to look at it. Psycology, which expains everything. Here are some common
phrases that you can use to determine what they are intending to do/think/scam of you.
Here are a few examples showing what the person is thinking.
“selling 500 freaking iron bars, just buy please!” This person is anxious and not very
smart, because after a while his bars will go down and price, then you jump on him and
buy for the low price.
“selling 500 iron bars contact me on private, a/w is 500 each(not accurate prices but who
25
25
cares) This person is patient, yet it in a hurry. He wants to maximize in cash, yet will take
the time however long it takes till he finds a high bidder 400 ea.
This is not the person you want to haggle with, and he is usually in the process of doing
something such as alching\fletching. So this is not the right person to buy from.
“500 iron bars for sale 200 each” this person is obviously impatient and is desperate going
low price. Just wait a few seconds, because he will get even more impatient as time passes.
These are 3 examples..1 and 3 are the ones you are aiming for on merchanting.
Psycological key words/phrases:
private: in a hurry, desperate and patient
sell to him rather than me: A scammer, don’t even trade this person or the other, it just
makes it more tempting and you could fall for it.
ex of this: I’ll trade you for a nature reed for your dragon med lighthouse. Other guy
trades me and puts up 10 mil. Pretty imtimidating, lol i saw ther log out tactic, didn’t fool
me..psycology ownz!
selling blah blah got 5 min!: desperate person probably(80%) lying, so he is definately
gonna admit his disaster in 5 minutes. Well, at least you can psycologically 0wn him. He
probably also will be a target said in example 1 and 3, don’t say that he is a lier, or he
most likely wont sell to you which is not the aim of this.
noob: if he says bank sale no noobs, this refers to no wimpy offers, which makes him want
to spend less time, meaning that he has no time..making him a desperate buyer\seller.
not you!: means he has a better buyer, just a little impatient, nothing to be upset on..it just
means you will have to take it to the next level if you want to buy it. So just a person trying to make you “bid” higher so its just a temptation, look at it that way if you haven’t before.
person isn’t (talking or anything): definately and most probably a scam. This means they
are really happy just dont wanna show it out or blurt out any clues, yet by saying nothing
they are giving out a clue. Also when they say “accept” it means they are impatient and
you can say “no, thats a bad deal, but i’ll do it for 10k more.” And he’ll blow his cap and
accept.
In this thread i will reveal all that I know about merchanting, and help you gain that extra
gp. Merchanting requires patience, so if you want to merchant, you need some patience.
It takes money to make money! In some cases this is true, but in merchanting, all you need
is 3k and you are on your way to success! It is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Best of all, unlike others,
the cost is 0 gp to know my secrets and learn everything I know!
So, what do say? Will you join me on a quest to millions? Even hundereds of millions?!?!?

something more you want, but sometimes we cant afford it! Join me now, and learn how
to suceed beyond the borders of boredom that you endure everytime you begin drooling
when you see a p hat.
please move on to my next post!
WHAT YOU MUST DO IS THIS!
First, buy range pots off people on the forums for reasonable prices: i.e. no more then
3.5k.
After you buy the range pots you may feel weighed down by them and begin feeling
pressure to sell them. DO NOT FEEL THIS PRESSURE, IT IS NORMAL.
Heres the secret part that merchants never mention: the only lucritive place to sell range
pots is: World 18, Edgeville bank.
THERE IT IS! BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!
There are specific things you must do to sell range pots, or else you will end up gaining
little money.
Here’s where your choice comes in:will u sell for 4k ea or 5k ea? I sell for 5k ea, because
im a risk-taker
Most people will only sell for 4k ea, that is fine, depends on how fast you need the money.
Here’s one of the most important things:responding to other sellers.
You must do this, or once again, you shall fail.
To compete properly with another seller, follow these steps:
1. Follow them, (literally click follow)
2. IMMEDIATLY SAY THIS: Selling Range Pots-3k ea-(enter your name here)
3. Do not be afraid to sell for 3k ea, you wont be losing any money, and you need to take
this risk, because losing some pots for 3k ea is more valuble then making no cash at all.
IF YOU DONT HAVE MUCH MONEY DO THIS TO MERCHANT
-Buy individual range pots if you need to
-Take it slow, your money will build
-Have patience, or you will fail
ARAGORN IS HERE TO HELP YOU! (ALL POTS R 3 DOSE, I WILL SELL U 4 DOSE
IF YOU SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR THEM IN-GAME)

Market - Buying/Selling

Knowing how and when to market an item is important. Read this guide if
you like to make money without having to lvl up a trade skill or chance
loosing ur armor when you go out to PK someone.
Glossary
1. Rune Ess
2. Big Bones
3. Store Trading
Ok first tip. Know what you want to buy/sell and how much its worth. Here
are some things that are very usefull and easy to buy/sell and help boost a
new players money reserves.
1. Rune Ess - These can only be mined once you have completed the rune
mysteries quest. Once completing the quest you will be able to teleport to
the Ess world from either the wizzard tower, varrock south of east bank or
somewhere in fally I don’t know where that is. Rune Ess can be mined at
lvl1 and dont take very long. A dedicated person can mine over 2k per half
our but this is incredibally boring so try and do like 500 a day and then do
whatever u like.
Rune Ess sell anywhere from 10-50gp ea. This may not seem like much but
when you have mined 1,000 rune ess and you find somone willing to buy for
50ea then thats 50k withought lvling up any skill but mining. ( Rune Ess do
not lvl up ur mining much so if you are focused on getting mining exp do it
on other ores. ) This does take some time and the rewards are pretty nice if
you do it alot and any player can do this lvl 3 - whatever lvl u are.
2. Big Bones - Big bones are usually aquired at the cave east of barb village
from the lvl 28 hill giants dwelling there. A Key is required to get in the door
to the entrance of the cave and can be aquired by killing someone with it,
finding someone who dropped one, or buying one from another player.
Sometimes the general store will have it but only idiots will sell a key for a
low price when new players want them. If you wish to find the key yourself
go to the ladder by the yew trees in edgville and walk until just before the
hill giants section and their is a room that diverts off to the east. The key is
there and is respawning so you can get it mutiple times and hand them out
to friends. ( or noobs and watch them die and take their stuff lol ) Big bones
can be sold from about 150ea to 350-400ea. So as you can see it is very nice
if you are any good at killing a lvl 28 hill giant. *P.S. Bring some food this
things hit hard. You may also find some nice items being dropped. Yesterday
i got an uncut dimond, but mostely they will drop iron items and limpwort
roots. ( used in str pots )
3. Store Trading( example ) Arrows. One thing that is reletively fast is
looking in Lowes archery store ( or any other store for that matter ) and
finding a type of arrow that is low. I.E. Say the store only has 1 addy arrow
left and you can sell for like 200 ea to this store. Go to another world that
has like 1000 addy arrows and buy for like 80 ea then go sell for a 20 ea
profit. This is very hard to do and takes a long time. I only suggest you do it
if you are desprate for money.
Ok one last thing. I suggest that you keep a reserve of money. Like 10k or
something that you set that you will never use unless you are out of money
and want to make more again. Example. You are pked and lose everything
you have. Go to bank and withdraw the 10k you kept and buy ess 20 ea. Go
to world 1 and sell for as high as you can ( 40-50 ea ) and repeat the process
until you have as much money that you need and keep a reserve again.
Merchanting Tip, steel barz
Ok, well to start off steel bars are 550 each when you sell them. Coal is about 150 each.
Iron is 50 each. So, if you buy say 1k coal for 150k, and 500 iron for 25k, then you just
spent 175k. Then, smelt those ores into 500 steel bars. Then go and sell them for 550 each.
So 500 steel bars at 550 each is 275. And there you have it, a nice 125k profit. Also it gives

I hate to give away this secret but here it goes… the only thing you will
need is some GP and to be able to get into the Mage Guild.
Runescape is usually updated on Monday and Tuesday (morning time in
EST). Get on Runescape when you know there is an update coming. When
the update countdown starts stop what you are doing and teleport or run
down to Yanille. Take as much money as you can with you and go over to
the Mage Guild. Go upstairs near the Mage shop. Wait for the game to count
down until it reboots. After the update start buying runes like crazy… There
will be 5000 bloods, deaths, laws, natures and chaos in stock. Buy the
bloods first, followed by the natures, then deaths and laws, then chaos last.
If you are quick at clicking and there are not a lot of people around you can
easily make MILLIONS in no time. Easily 3 - 5 million and up to 10 million if
no one is around.
NOTE: Don’t share this with others! The more people that know about this,
the less you will be able to buy!

Before we begin, let’s take a moment to learn the basics of the Grand Exchange. When you open the Exchange window, you will see six boxes with 2 boxes in each. One box is for buying, and the other for selling. You can pick the quantity and the price for either buying or selling. Usually when selling, the lowest price possible will be the fastest sell.

Let me show you an example. As you can see from the screenshot below, I have three barbed tail harpoons. They are set at the max price (27 gp) and the total gold is 81 gp. I could change the quantity and/or the price if I wanted to. However, I think that is fair, so I will press “Confirm Offer” and then I will wait for it to finish. They will hold your items or money until it’s completed. You can always go to any bank and press “collect” to receive the money or items you got from the exchange.

Now, that you have a basic grasp of the way it works, lets move on to money-making.

Obviously the normal merchanting is always a great way to make money. However, who really wants to sit in a bank for an hour typing “Selling 1k willows!!”? That’s what’s great about the Exchange. Just take your items and put them in your sell box. Name the price and the quantity will automatically be the number you have. Most of the time it will sell within a minute of you putting it up. But of course, it’s not always going to work like that. As in the screenshot below, I’m waiting for them to sell.

They will not sell as fast because they are not a popular item and they are at the max price.
If I had say, 100 Swordfish, and I put them at the minimum price, they would sell very fast.
Even if they were at the maximum price, they would sell quite fast. Remember, the more popular the item is, the faster it sells.

Another good idea is to buy low and sell high. Say I buy eight swordfish at 375gp each. Then I resell them for 415gp each. I just made 320gp. Sure, it’s not a lot, but say I buy 1k Swordfish for 375k and then I resold for 415kGP. See the difference? Of course making money like this could take quite awhile. Just stay patient and it will pay off.

Using the Runescape Grand Exchange is a wonderful money making opportunity. You can have that Dragon Longsword you have been dreaming of in a matter of minutes.

Happy Selling!

Runescape Economy

Economy is really complex on Runescape. Runescape gives you varieties of ways to make money. You also learn things that link to real life from the game. It is easier to make money on P2P servers rather than F2p servers for many reasons. On P2P servers, you have a variety of skills and areas to help you. On F2P servers, you are short of some major skills, and armor. You can make money while raising your skills. Or you can make money the easy way. To become the best in Runescape you’ll have to go through both ways. You’ll learn all about it in this article.

Leveling Up
The first way is getting money from leveling up. People train all day and rely on their money by drops. Drops can range from items worth 1 gold to items worth millions of gold. That way is time consuming and is all based on luck. Drops such as dragon armor can turn you from a poor character to a rich one. Fighting in the Barrows can make you strong and rich. Barrows armor is worth a lot of gold, and can help you defeat your enemies that come along your path. A helpful skill for this way of becoming rich would be the Slayer skill. The higher your slayer, the more of a chance you have of getting rare weapons and armor. At 65 slayer you can fight Dust Devils. Dust Devils have a chance of dropping a Dragon chain when you die. Dragon chains usually go for 10-12m. You would get the benefits of leveling up and getting stronger, but would not have the benefits of making quick and easy money.

Alchemy
A helpful skill in making money on runescape is magic. Alchemy is a great tool for money making. I’ve personally made over 30m gold by alchemy. Some skills that you will need or that will improve are crafting, magic, woodcutting, runecrafting, and fletching. What you do is get your woodcutting to 75 and start chopping at magic trees. Magic tree spots are hard to find with no people, but a real decent spot is southwest of Lletya. There isn’t many people there due to the poisonous traps and monsters in the area. It is a great spot for people over level 60. You get the magic logs and you fletch them into magic long bows. The next part gets boring, but is a necessity. You pick flax from an area such as the seers village. You string the flax in the same village. Now, you string the longbows. You will need a fire staff and nature runes for the next part. If you make your own runes then you will make 1.5m, but if you buy the nature runes then you will make a lot less gold. If you choose this way, then you will raise a lot of skills, and make a lot of money at the same time. It is very time consuming, but worth it at the end.

Fishing and Cooking
A good skill to work on in Runescape is fishing. Fishing is a great and easy way to make money. You should fish from fishing level 1-40 and use the fish you get for later use. You can cook those fish later on and use it for food when training. Once you hit level 40 fishing, then you should fish for lobsters. Lobsters sell for a lot of gold on F2P servers because it is the best level of fish that recovers hp fast. People buy lobsters to go pvp or just to train, so you are guaranteed a sell. Once you hit level 76 fishing, then you can fish for sharks at the fishing guild of Catherby. Fishing for sharks can be a win lose situation. Cooking sharks can either make you happy or make you punch a hole in your wall. Until you hit 99 cooking, the outcome of cooking sharks will most likely be 3 to 1 being burnt. Sharks are a good way to make money nonetheless because most players buy sharks uncooked to level their cooking.

Runecrafting
Runecrafting is a great skill to use for your advantage in Runescape. Runecrafting needs patience and cooperation. Mining the rune essence is the easiest way to get started. Once you have the rune essence go to an alter and make the runes. The air alter is the easiest to level up. Make your way up to level 44 runecrafting. Then you should start making nature runes. Nature runes sell for a decent amount of gold due to the want for alchemy. You can make a decent amount of money from this but it will be a back breaking task.

Mining and Smithing
The slowest way to make money is mining ores and smelting. All you need is a pickaxe, and time. You can mine everywhere and anywhere. Selling steel bars is a great way to make money. Selling coal ores is a lot faster, and a little less time consuming. The outcome will most likely come out the same.
I hope these tips will help you become a successful runescape player. And again, there are many ways of making money on Runescape with all the varieties of skills, and items. The ways I have talked about in this article are ways of making money while furthering your skills on Runescape.

Our quest guides will offer detailed quest help and quest walkthroughs, including the needed items and rewards. Many players don’t wish to use quest guides to help them as they may spoil the questing fun. Only use them if you can’t figure out how to complete a quest or you are too lazy to figure it out!

Running a Runescape Business

Running a Runescape Business
If you get bored of Merchantiing, you can successfully run a Runescape
steel bar making business. This business will bring great wealth to you and
your miners. Pay your miners for this business - 150 gp per coal and 75 gp
per iron ore. So it costs you 375 gp to make each. Once you have made the
bars, sell them to other players for 600 gp each (sometimes 500 each).
You can easily generate profits of 2 - 3 million gp each week running this
business. If you are a member then you can also make cannonballs and sell
them for 200 - 250 gp each. Each bar produces 4 cannonballs. So if you
make these you will get 800 - 1000 gp per steel bar which will mean a profit
of 425 - 625 gp per steel bar. If you just sell the bars after making them
then your profit will be 125 - 225 gp per bar. You can easily make 25000
bars in a week. So you will bank in profits between 3.12 million to 15.65
million depending on whether you make cannonballs or just sell the bars.
Do not buy your bars, otherwise it won’t be as profitable a business. If you
have trouble selling your bars then look in the forums for buyers or make a
post.
Investments:
If you are going to train combat for a while and would like to make some
income on all that GP in your bank. Buy some rare items. Rare items will
sometimes have a bump in price where they will fall, but they always have
and always will recover in price eventually. Party hats are the best
investment you can make for the long term. Buy them only when you see a
good deal. Do not feel pressured into going out and spending your savings
on party hats when they are going to just sit in your bank. I recently sold a
bunch of party hats that I was saving in my bank. They gave me almost
300% profit in just 4 months!
Party hats are already up this year. I am predicting them to double in price
by the end of summer!
Also, I have stocked up on Halloween masks. They are very likely to double
in value by this Halloween.
Haloween, Easter and Christmas items fluctuate in price depending on the
season. When Christmas is just around the corner, prices for Santa Hats will
rise simply because there will be a greateter demand for them.
Stay away from the new novelty items, like the trimmed armors and godly
armors. These items are rapidly dropping in price.

OTHER WAYS TO MAKE MONEY

Low Level Player:
1) Try killing chickens. This is especially good for level 3 noobs. Each
feather you gather from them will get you 10 gp if you collect 1k or more of
them at a time. This is the quickest way and the most efficient way for you
to get your 1st 100k. When killed, each chicken will drop 5 to 15 feathers.
Feathers currently sell for 10 - 15 gp each. So you will get 50 - 225 gold
coins for each chicken you kill. Below is a list of the possible income for
each chicken killed:
5 feathers = 50 - 75 gold coins
10 feathers = 100 - 150 gold coins
15 feathers = 150 - 225 gold coins
Since feathers keep adding up and only take up 1 space in inventory there is
no need to be running to the bank. You can easily get 10,000 feathers in 5
hours work by killing 650 - 2000 chickens. Once you have 10,000 feathers,
then you can sell them off by looking for a buyer in the runescape forums.
You will get somewhere between 100k to 150k for your 10,000 feathers.
Low level players can go one step further and while you are at it buy some
feathers from other players. Buy them for 1-3 gp each. A lot of people
will sell them for that price. Once you reach 10,000 feathers, sell off your
feathers by looking for a buyer in the forums.
2) Kill cows, if you bank the hides you can sell these for 200 - 250 gp ea
13
13
or more if you collect a lot of them (500+)
3) Goblins are also good training because they drop a lot of low level
clues.
4) Kill chaos druids in edgeville dungeon. They drop herbs of all levels.
Do NOT id them. Collect a full load and bank them. Once you get a few
hundred sell them all as unid herbs. You can get at least 1k ea on the
Runescape forums.
5) Fishing is a good way to make money at the lower levels - there is a
good market for fish and you can reach the required fishing and cooking
levels rather quickly. Many people who are rich don’t want to take the time
to fish. If you’re a low fishing level, just grab a net or a rod and fish the best
thing you can until you’re at least fishing level 40. Level 40 is the minimum
to fish lobsters. During your time of fishing to train up to level 40, make sure
to cook everything you catch for cooking levels! You need to be level 40
cooking as well, in order to cook your lobsters. Bear in mind that you can
sell them uncooked, but more people prefer to buy them cooked and they
pay more for them cooked as well. After you fish a good deal of lobsters
(100+) - cook them! Don’t be discouraged at first because you will burn a
good deal of them. Usually fish about twice as many raw lobsters as you
plan on selling because you very well may burn about half of them at first.
After that, go to Varrock on World 1 and sell for 150 - 200gp each! Do that
until you can fish swordfish and cook them (level 50 fishing and 45 cooking)
and then you can switch to that if you want. Swordfish take a lot longer to
catch though, you’ll burn very many of them, and more people seem to buy
lobsters than swordfish, but the choice is yours. If you catch and cook them
up you can sell them for 200 - 250gp each.
6) Collecting normal bones to sell for between 20gp - 100gp each
depending on quantity. You can get these bones from almost every monster.
For low levels players, I would suggest goblins, man, chicken & cow. There
is a spawn point in Edgeville Dungeon (giant rats) and in the wild (North Of
Varrock).
High Level Player:
1) Kill Giants. Bank the big bones. They will sell for 400 ea if you collect
them in bulk.
2) Slay Dragons. The wilderness was recently updated so that there are
14
14
green dragons at lvl 18 wild just northeast of edgeville. Here you can slay
the dragons, bank the bones and hides. I can make about 500k an hour easy
doing this over and over. Blue drags in talvery are also close to the bank but
they also take alot longer to slay then the green drags mentioned above.
3) Train on the monsters that drop treasure trails. The profit from the
clues will provide a nice income. These include ice warriors, all dragons,
greater demons, paladins, and hell hounds. The higher the level monster the
better the chance of getting a higher level clue.
4) (For Members) Cut and sell arrow shafts for 10 - 15 gp each. You can
buy them at 5 - 8gp each from players who don’t really know the prices.
Perfect for new merchants
