Runscape is one of the largest 3D online multiplayer games out there. If you enjoy role playing games, then you will love Runescape. It offers free to play and pay to play options. The great thing is that if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on something like that, there are plenty of things todo on the free to play version. If you decide that you would like to pay to play, only $5.00 a month you can have a membership. If you do not have a Credit card available, no problem for only $6.99 you can pay by phone.

There are regular updates to the game as well. New things are added all the time such as new monster, quests, armor, places and things. There are players from all over the world and of all ages that play and enjoy this game. You are able to interact with these players as well. You are able to buy, sale and trade with them which is an awesome thing and great way to make some money. If you have something that another player wants, that means money in the bank. There are general shops, food shops; armor and weapon shops and you even have a bank to store your money (GP – short for gold pieces) and items in.

The time is set back in the mid evil type of times with castles, Kings and Knights. You are able to choose your characters looks; from facial features to hair and clothes. There are a ton of monsters to kill, skills to build up, quests to do and treasures to win. When you first start off on Runescape you will go to Tutorial Island. This is where you will learn all the basic skills needed to survive in the Runecape world. In the Runescape world you must hunt your food, cook your food, and make your armor and weapons, and much more. Now, don’t let Tutorial Island fool you, it goes kind of slow and does not leave the best first impression but when you go to the main land the true fun begins. You have a choice of being a “pure” which means that you specialize in one combative area; melee, ranging, or magic. If you want to be a well rounded player, you can do them all.

Runescape comes in two versions: the free version (which is supported by banner ads) and the paid to play full version (Five dollars a month subscription fee). While there are many other skills to play with on the paid to play version its wise to gain a familiarity with the game for free. Any skill where you are producing items you will find that by simply using the left click on your mouse up a new menu. In the crafting skill, this secondary menu will give you the options of how many items you would like to craft. It will display these options as, Make all, Make x, Make 5, and Make 1, this menu is a huge time saver. You will need to use these options on this secondary menu whenever possible. You will need to raise your characters craft level in the game in order to make money and create items that will help you with other skills.

Maybe you’ve heard the name RuneScape in passing and have been wondering what exactly the game entails and how to play. If this is so and you are new to RuneScape, the first and foremost thing of which you need to be aware is the official rulebook. Aside from visiting the official website at http://www.RuneScape.com, an overview of the rules and regulations can be found within this article.

The fifteen rules of conduct are as follows:

1. You must not use any language which is offensive, racist or obscene.

This rule was created in order for game play to be as pleasant and enjoyable as possible for all players. Because this game is played by a large number of people from a variety of backgrounds, it is advised to be sensitive of the fact that someone may be much more offended at a comment than you may intend or expect.

Disguising offensive language with the use of symbols to replace letters is, according to the official website, “considered even worse.”

Filling the chat window with unnecessary text is included as a violation of this rule because it detracts from other players’ ability to communicate with each other.

2. You must not scam or deceive other players.

Created to protect new players and prevent spoiled play for all, scamming includes: (1) Making false claims about an item, such as claiming an item is rare when it isn’t, (2) Switching items at the last second before pressing accept, and (3) Changing item price at the last second.

It is the player’s responsibility to make sure the price being asked for an item is a fair price. Although overpricing is not included as a scam, it is advised against.

3. Asking for another player’s password for any reason will not be tolerated.

4. You must not use or attempt to use any cheats or errors which you find in our software. Any exploits which you find must be immediately reported to Jagex through Customer Support.

This rule was created to make the game as fair as possible. For this reason, there are no cheat codes for the game.

er with an internet connection. All of the characters, world, and the entire RuneScape universe is accessible from www.runescape.com.

Players have two options when joining RuneScape. They can either sign up for a free account or pay a monthly fee for a member account. RuneScape is one of the cheaper online RPGs, offering member accounts for only $5.00 a month. Members can access the entire RuneScape world and complete every quest, while free accounts can only travel through a small area of the medieval land and take on a limited number of missions. Once they’ve selected their account type, players get to create their own customized character by selecting gender, body type, and other options.

New gamers don’t need to worry about memorizing a complex instruction manual or reading pages of tutorials before playing. Instead, RuneScape starts gamers out in an area of the world known as Tutorial Island. Here, players will learn to move through the world, battle, make items, cast magic, and practice the skills that they will need to be successful in RuneScape. After learning how to exist in the world, players will leave the island and be let lose in the world of RuneScape.

Much of the game will have players battling the forces of evil, so it’s important that gamers learn how to fight and fight well. Swords, axes, and staffs give gamers the chance to engage their foes up close, while bows, arrows, and magic allow them to fight from afar. Both methods of combat have their advantages and detriments, and gamers will want to experiment to see which fits their style of gameplay the best.

The best way to make your first million is by using your character’s skills. The 2 best money making skills are Fishing, Woodcutting, and the skills that branch off of those.

Woodcutting methods

1. Raise your woodcutting to 30 so you can chop willows. Chop willows and sell them for 30-40 each. Willows go very very fast if you chop in draynor village or seers village, so this is very quick money. Once you raise your woodcutting to 50, proceed to method 2 (If you are a member). If you are a non member, raise your woodcutting to 60, and proceed to step 3. You should make about 600k gold off of step 1.

2. If you have 50 woodcutting, it is a lot easier to chop maples. Maples sell for about 90-100 each, and they are moderately high in demand. There are maple crops all around seers village which makes banking EASY. Chop maples and sell them until you reach 60 or 70 woodcutting. 70 is recommended for step 3. If you cut until 70, you should have made about 4 Million gold.

3. At 70 woodcutting, you will be able to chop yews very easily. The best yew chopping spots are at Edgeville, The Tree Gnome Stronghold, and Seers Village. If you are a member, plant yourself at seers village and chop until level 75. If you are a non member, plant yourself in edgeville and chop forever. You can make up to 200k an hour chopping yews as a non member. Yews sell for about 300 each. When you reach level 75 woodcutting, you should have made about 2.2 Million gold, which makes your total gold earned from woodcutting 6.8 Million.

4. Ok, so you are level 75 woodcutting… you can now chop magics. These sell for 1k-1.1k each. I suggest you buy a dragon woodcutting axe, because you can make millions a week on magics. Set yourself up behind the duel arena. There is a bank right by, and the trees aren’t as crowded. If you do this every time you play, you can make upwards of 4-5m Gold PER DAY!

Fletching – The best Woodcutting branch off

1. You will need level 70 fletching and be able to do high level alchemy for this.

2. Ok, Yew longbows sell for a lot, so what you do is buy a bunch of nature runes at 280-300 each, then fletch a bunch of yew longbows.

Runescape: The Noobs

The Rules to the game may state that a noob is the same as a new player, but nothing could be further from the truth. A Newbie is a new player, a noob is an insulting name given to those who annoy or are immature. There is no cookie cutter explanation for why there are so many noob characters on Runescape, but one could argue that there are indeed different types of noobs.

Begging noobs.
This type of noob is often found in banks, spamming “Please my account was just hacked”, “Please I died and lost everything”, “Please I was scammed”, and “Please give me money”. If someone is begging for items you should ignore them, you cannot report them for scamming. If you do give in to their demands, you will have to block them since they will not stop asking you to do things for them or give them things for free.

Scamming noobs.
There are many scams out there trade-scamming, password scamming and item scamming. You should always be aware of how much an item is worth and double-check your trades in the second screen to avoid becoming a victim of a scammer. There are also some scams you need to be aware of before you play.

Trimmed armor comes from treasure trails, which is a mini quest game on member’s worlds. While it is possible to have trimmed armor to sell on a free to play world no one has the ability to take regular armor and “trim” it. The scammer will end up taking your armor leaving you with nothing to wear during your combat training. Most scammers will try to convince you other wise, you should report them and warn any player that is about to fall for the scam.

Free gem cutting can be a scam, you should never trade someone items with out something else in return. If the player does not offer up cut gems in the trade window for your uncut gems then it could be a scam. They could take your gems while you wait for them to cut and return them. Many people are aware of the scam and how to trade for cut for uncut gems correctly. Players do this for free because cutting the gems gives them crafting experience.

Jagex loves to tell their players that cheating in RuneScape is “Impossible”. Well here’s the truth… if you want quick, easy cash in RuneScape, it’s only a few mouseclicks away.

There are some very high tech bots out there that will not only make your character a millionaire, but they will not get you banned either. These bots have the power to start conversations with other players, log out, and they even have their own sleep patterns.

So.. are you looking to become a RuneScaoe millionaire without having to do a single thing? Heres some reviews on some bots I’ve found to be useful in the past.

-RSBot
This bot is great. I got to 93 woodcutting, and 87 mining using this bot, and I made millions in the process. There are hundreds of different scripts for it, and it can run around the clock, with multiple bots running on one PC.

-NeXus / iBot
Also a good bot. Very similar to Rsbot, but has a great RuneScape community as well.

-Jmacro
This bot was good for awhile, but other bots were made, and began to pass this one up.

If your looking for good cheating communitys to share stories, and get more bots, I reccomend Sythe, Runekeep, and Fagex.

Starting location: Signpost near the pub in Canifis.

Read the signpost, then head north-east of the slayer master towards the castle. Talk to the doctor and say that you’re brain-dead and that you’re good at grave digging. You’ll now have to find 4 body parts: arms, legs, torso and head.
Firstly talk to the gardener outside with your ghost speak amulet on. Ask him what happened to his head. He will follow you to the haunted woods. Keep talking to him and he’ll tell you where to go. Dig his grave to find the head.
Now head back to the castle and go upstairs. Search the bookcase in a room to the west for the book Joy Of Grave Digging and you get a marble amulet, then search the bookcase in a room to the east for the Handy Maggot Avoidance Techniques and you get an obsidian amulet. Use them with each other to make a star amulet. Leave the castle and follow the path east to a graveyard and use your star amulet on the last memorial to the east. Push the monument, follow the cave round and kill the level 51 experiment. Pick the key up and head north-west. Use your key on the gate, and then go upstairs. He will need a needle and 5 threads. Now he will want a conductor for lightning made of silver. Go talk to the gardener and ask for the key for the shed. Go into the little room north of the gardener and search the cupboard for a garden brush, and just outside the shed door, you will see some cane piles, pick 3 garden canes. Use bronze wire to connect the canes and the brush, you need 3 canes and 3 bronze wire.
Sweep the west fireplace on the first floor of the castle to get the conductor mould, use a silver bar on a furnace to make the conductor and take it back to the doctor. You can then go through the south doors on the first floor, up the ladder and use the conductor on the rod out there.

Go back to the doctor, he’ll tell you the monster is alive and you need to kill it, get the key from him, head back up to the first floor and use the key on the gate door up there to gain access to the monster.
The monster will tell you the truth about the doctor and ask you to take the Ring of Charos from the doctor. Go downstairs and pickpocket the doctor to complete the quest.

We love Runescape. It’s a great game and there’s always so much to do. Previously, and in the future, we’ll write about so many tips and tricks that you’ll be a world-wide renowned player if you follow them all. However, there are people out there who are too lazy to do the work for themselves. Some of you reading this article may have had your Runescape account stolen by hackers and thieves. If you’re ever asked to participate in helping to steal Runescape passwords, please report it to Jagex immediately. There’s no fun in getting accounts illegally, and it’s morally wrong. Also, you could be liable for legal action if you do so.
We have to protect our accounts from these hacking teams, so our team went undercover into one of these password-stealing scams. We found out the top ways that they work, and we’re going to list some ways you can protect yourself. Some of these things are obvious, others, not so much…

1.) Don’t ever tell someone your password. Nobody. Jagex will never ask for your password. Remember, they have your password already on their server, so why would they need to ask? The only person who would ask is someone stealing accounts.

2.) Your account will never be locked in 24 hours if you don’t provide your password. Trust us. If RuneScape wants to ban you, they won’t wait 24 hours.

3.) Only login to Runescape on the official RuneScape site. The official site is www.runescape.com Never follow a link to the site, because links can easily be faked by anyone. Check the address bar every time you play. Also, you should manually type in the URL in the address bar when you do play.

4.) Get an anti-virus software, even a free one. Not only will this protect your account, it’ll protect your computer. We recommend AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition.

5.) Get an anti-spyware program, even if it is free. We recommend Lavasoft Ad-Aware Free Edition. The reason for this is that hackers can use spyware to see what you type as your password on your computer.

6.) Get keylogger protection. Lavasoft does this, but if you can get a special program for preventing keyloggers, your PC will be a lot safer.

7.) Don’t go for scams that say that they will give you tons of free items, or free gold. Don’t go for the email scams either. Let’s review the e-mail scam in detail. Here’s what an uninformed Runescape player might do.

You visit a website that says that they can get you tons of free gold and items at no risk at all. Of course, you check the site out.
The site says that JagEx or Runescape has a vulnerability in their email system. By emailing a certain email address that, of course, belongs to JagEx, you’ll get some gold, or items, or someone else’s account password.
All you have to do to get that free stuff is to send an email to that email address, or fill out a form on a website with some information. This email or form ALWAYS contains your username and password, and maybe it contains how much gold you want, or which items you want, or the person’s account name whose password you want. There are slight variations on this scam.
After you email the information, you’ll get the stuff in your account that you requested.
Here’s what’s really happening. When you fill out the form or send the email, you’re actually sending it to a scammer. The scammer will then collect the data as fast as possible, and log in to your account! Then, they’ll proceed to empty it completely of anything valuable. If you have a high level character, they might change the email and password that the account is registered to, and start to play under your account. Boom. You have no proof that that was your account to begin with, and all your hard work is gone.

Question: But the email that I’m sending to looks really official. Its something like jagex@yahoo.com. Of course this isn’t a scam.

Answer: DEAD WRONG! First of all, JagEx employees’ emails always are like abcde@runescape.com or abcde@jagex.com. (By the way, if you receive an email from someone pretending to be a part of RuneScape staff, ignore it and forward it to abuse@jagex.com. These types of emails are fake, because the “sender” line has been compromised, something that’s easy to do. ) The JagEx mail server is only on these domains, so there’s no way that these’ll work. In fact, the scammers register official looking email addresses to fool you. Don’t fall for it.

Remember to stay safe while playing the game. Don’t waste all your hard work by falling for one of these silly tricks. Good Luck!
