Now, lots of people thought that mining was the best way to make money when RuneScape was young. In a way they were right. Another way to make in-game money is fishing and cooking. More skills that take up more of your time to perfect before you could make some serious cash. Lobsters sell (as of today) for around 200gp each, but you can fish them and cook them for free. Quite a lot of profit for such a little pinching creature.

Sure there are lots of other things you can do to make money. Runecrafting is one, collecting and selling bones, selling runes, arrows lots of different items. You can even use combat (player-killing) to make some serious cash. The unfortunate thing is, this all takes a lot of time, which we often don’t have. Some don’t even guarantee that you will gain a profit.
