First go to Canifis, located east from Varrock. Read the signpost near the pub in Canifis and you will find out that a doctor is looking for a grave digger.

Go to Dr Fenkenstrain, he’s located in Fenkenstrain’s Castle to the northeast of Canifis. Talk to him and he will answer you some questions.

Say that you’re brain dead and that you are good in grave digging.

Your first job is to get a pair of legs, a pair of arms a torso and a head.

Getting the head

Talk to the gardener with your ghost speak amulet equipped. Ask him what happened to his head and he will tell you that he lost it in the woods. Go to the woods (south) and keep taking to him and follow his directions until you come to the place where you’ll have to dig. Watch out for the vampires and the leeches of lvl 72 and lvl 52. Dig the grave and you’ll get the head.

Getting the arms, legs, and torso

(west and eastern bookcase)

Go back to the castle and go upstairs. Go look for a bookcase in the west room. Search the bookcase and you’ll find a book called “The Joy of Grave Digging”. Now search the eastern room and you’ll find a book called “Handy Maggot Avoidance Techniques”. You now have a obsidian amulet and a marble amulet. Use them together to get a star amulet.

Go out the castle and walk to the east to the graveyard.

Use the amulet with the memorial most to the east and then push the monument to get into a dudgeon. Kill a level 51 Experiment and you’ll get a key.

Go north west to the gate and open it with your key.

Go upstairs and dig the 3 graves with your spade to get the arms, legs and torso. Push the memorial and go back to Dr Fenkenstrain.

Brainzzz

Now Dr Fenkenstrain needs brains. Go to the pub in Canifis and talk to the Roavar. Ask if you can eat something and buy the pickled brains. Use the brains with the head and go back to Dr Fenkenstrain. He will ask you for 5 threads and a needle. Give it to him.

The Conductor

The doctor now wants you to get a silver conductor. Go talk to the gardener and ask for the key from the shed. Grab 3 cane piles near the shed.

Now go to the shed and use the key to open it. Open the cupboard and you’ll get a garden brush. Use your 3 bronze wires to extend the garden brush with the canes.

Now go up and back to the western room where you found the book about grave digging. And use your extended garden brush with the fireplace to get a conductor mould.

Use a silver bar with a furnace to make a conductor. The nearest furnace is in Port Phasmatys (to the east), or you could go to Al Kharid or Falador.

Go back to the doctor and he will tell you to put it on the roof. Go upstairs and then go to the most southern room. Go up the ladder and put the conductor on the rod. Go back to the doctor and he will tell you to kill the monster and you will get a key from him. Go upstairs and use the key with the gate door and the monster will tell you something about the doctor.

He will ask you to go steal the ring of Charos from the doctor. If you have stolen it you’ve completed the quest.
