——————————————————————————–

Getting Started

Firstly, talk to Juliet upstairs in her house in west Varrock, just past the Bank. She tells you that she’s in love with Romeo and asks if you’ve seen him. Tell her that you have, and she will give you a Message to give to him. Romeo can usually be found in Varrock Square, wandering around near the large fountain.

When you talk to Romeo, you find that he’s quite upset over Juliet. Give him the Message that Juliet gave to you, and he tells you that Juliet’s father doesn’t want them to get married, and if he sees Romeo, he will kill him. Romeo also says that Father Lawrence may be able to help them with their problem.

The Plan

Father Lawrence can be found in the local Varrock Church, a short distance from Romeo. Go east along the road and then head north past the small fountain to find the Church. Talk to Father Lawrence and a cut-scene will follow.

Now go back to the center of Varrock, and then head south past the Clothes Shop. Just west of the Sword Shop is a small house, home to the Apothecary. Talk to him about making the potion, and he says that you need some Cadava Berries. You can find these in the woods just east of the Stone Circle, and after picking up 1 bunch, bring them back to the Apothecary to make the Cadava Potion.

Head back to Juliet and give her the potion. Once again a cut-scene where you see Juliet drink the potion and fall into a coma. Phillipa does some acting which brings Juliet’s father, Draul Leptoc, to the balcony.

Now head back to Romeo and talk to him. He will ask you to accompany him to the crypt, apparently he is not a great hero. Once again, a cut-scene is shown where you will take Romeo by the hand to show him to Juliet.

Enter stage left: Phillipa.

And Romeo, with the eternal words: ‘You are a fox’, seems to forget all about Juliet, which is later confirmed with the phrase: ‘Juliet, who is Juliet?’

Getting Started

First off, speak to Veronica who will be wandering around near the gate of Draynor Manor. The manor is just north of Draynor Village. She says that she’s in trouble, and tell her that you can help. Continue north along the path until you reach a large building and go inside.

Climb the first set of stairs in the room, and then climb the smaller staircase leading to the third floor. Talk to Professor Oddenstein, the eccentric-looking scientist in the room, and ask him about Ernest. The Professor says that he has turned him into a chicken. Tell him to change him back, and he says that his machine is broken and he needs several parts to get it running again. He needs a Pressure Gauge, a Rubber tube, and an Oil Can.

Pressure Gauge & Rubber Tube

With the list of needed items to get the machine running again, go back down the stairs leading to the second floor. Walk past the other set of stairs and notice the box of Fish Food on the floor across from the stairs. Pick it up and go down the stairs leading to the ground floor. Now go through the north door, and into the kitchen to the west. Next to the stove is a door, and in the small room is a bottle of Poison.

Now leave the kitchen and head into the room with a black and grey checkered floor. Next to the stairs is a room with a Spade in the corner. Pick it up and leave through the door. Walk around the Mansion, first to the north, and then to the west. When you come upon a Compost Heap, walk up to it and use your spade with it to find a Small Key.

Continue south until you reach a fountain filled with vicious Piranhas. Use the Poison with the Fish Food to poison it, and then use the Poisoned Fish Food with the fountain to kill them. Search it to find the Pressure Gauge. Now walk to the east and go back into the Manor. Just past the staircase is a small closet. Use the Small Key with the door and pick up the Rubber Tube .

The Oil Can

Leave the closet and walk into the room with a pink floor and search the bookcase on the west wall to find a secret door. Now climb down the ladder into a basement filled with small rooms and levers on the walls. This is the tricky part of the quest, and you need to pull the levers in order and continue into the correct room.

To help you with this quest, I’ve made a map of the maze with the levers and doors which you can follow. Each lever has it’s own color on this map, and each of the doors are labeled from 1-9, which is how directions are given to completing the maze.

First, pull levers A and B down. Go through door 1 and pull lever D down. Walk through doors 2 and 3, and pull levers A and B up. Go back through door 3, and through 4 and 5. Pull levers E and F down, and head out door 6, and through door 7. Now pull lever C down, and go back through doors 7 and 6. Pull lever E up and go through doors 6, 8 and 3. Now you can go through door 9 and pick up an Oil Can.

Fixing the Machine

Now go back up the ladder and pull the lever on the wall to open the secret door up. Head back upstairs to Professor Oddenstein and give him the parts to the machine. He’ll fix it and turn Ernest back into a human, and you’ve finished the quest!

——————————————————————————–

Getting Started

To start this adventure, talk to the Guild Master who can be found in the Champions’ Guild. The guild can be found by following the map above.

Ask him about the rune platemail.

Finding Oziach

Oziach can be found in Edgeville. Follow the map above, and he can be found in his house that has a yellow circle surrounding it.

Tell Oziach that the Guild Master told you about him, and the rune platemail. Oziach wants you to prove yourself, by slaying the legendary Elvarg the Dragon. Ask if there is anything you need, and Oziach recommends an anti-dragon shield. Dragons breathe harmful fire, of course! This mother dragon called Elvarg can be found on Crandor Isle, but you will need a map to follow to know how to get there. The map has been torn into 3 pieces, which you will need to find. Oziach will now tell you that the Guild Master has the key to Melzar’s Maze. Find your way back to the start of the quest and talk to the Guild Master. He will give you a maze key!

The Anti-Dragon Shield

To fight a dangerous dragon, you will need a good shield to protect you from the dangerous fire breath. Duke Horacio of Lumbridge has the anti-dragon shield that you will need. To get to Lumbridge, easily cast the Home Teleport spell and you will arrive at the courtyard of the castle. The Duke is located on the second floor of his castle. After a chat, you will receive the anti-dragon shield. Take care of it.

Hint: Should you ever lose your Anti-Dragon Shield, you can simply talk to Duke Horacio again to receive another.

Melzar’s Map Piece

This is the hardest map piece to obtain, as it requires a killing powerful demon. Come prepared with some decent food like lobsters, swordfish or tuna, some good armour and a decent weapon. If you have a high enough magic level, bringing teleport runes will ensure your safety. You do not need the anti dragon shield to fight the demon.

Now that you are prepared with your equipment, it’s time to get the map piece. The map piece is found in Melzar’s Maze, and you’ll need the Maze Key that was given to you earlier by Oziach to enter the maze. The maze can be found by following the map above. Once you arrive, use the maze key with the door to enter. If you have lost your maze key, return to the Guild Master and ask him for another.

Now, you’ll need to kill the giant rats in the room until one of them drops a red key. Once you have the red key, use it with the door in the northwest corner of the room and climb the ladder.

Next, kill the ghosts until they drop an orange key. Once the key is dropped, pick it up and use it on the door second from the north on the east wall. Head up the ladder in the small room after opening the door.

After that, kill the skeletons until they drop a yellow key, which you’ll need to use to open the southwest door. Next, head down the next three ladders.

Finally, you’ll enter a room with several zombies. Begin to kill zombies until they drop a blue key. Use the key with the blue painted door and you will enter a new room.

A level-43 Melzar the Mad will attack you, and he will say all sorts of very funny things. Once he is dead, get prepared for the hardest battle. Once you’re ready, use the key dropped by Melzar with the door and slay the level-82 lesser demon.

It will drop a green key, which you can use on the last door. Now, open and search the chest to obtain the first map piece! Congratulations!

Thelzar’s Map Piece

The holder of the second map piece is the Oracle, who can be found on Ice Mountain (see the above map). The Oracle’s location is the yellow circle. Once you arrive, bring up the subject of the map piece.

She says you’ll need several items in order to enter a room with the map piece inside. The following items are needed:

Wizard’s Mind Bomb - bought from the Falador pub for 3gp.
Lobster Pot - bought from the fishing shops in Port Sarim and Catherby.
Unfired Bowl - made by using soft clay on a pottery wheel and selecting bowl.
Silk - bought for 2gp from the Silk Trader in Al Kharid if you haggle, and 55gp from the Clothing Store in Varrock.
Once you have retrieved the items, head over into the Dwarven Mines, which can be seen on the map above. Climb down the ladder and go to the door that is in front of the room circled in yellow. Now use each of the items with the door until you only have just a beer glass left. Now you can enter the room.

Enter the room.

Open and search the chest, and you will have Thelzar’s map piece! Congratulations!

Lozar’s Map Piece

We’ve saved the easiest for last! Lozar’s Map Piece requires you simply to have 10,000gp if you don’t have level-31 Magic or higher. Alternatively, if you have level-33 Magic or higher, you’ll need one law rune and one air rune. If you magic level is 31 or 32, bring a Wizard’s Mind Bomb to help boost your magic level. If you are not paying the 10,000gp, items for magic or ranged attacks are needed. Once you have all the required items, head to the Port Sarim jail. Following the map below will bring you there.

Once you get there, go to the third cell south and you will see Wormbrain.

If you have brought magic or range attack and your telekinetic grab runes (with a wizards’ mind bomb if your magic level is 31 or 32), start shooting your spells or arrows at Wormbrain until he is dead. Once he is finished off, cast your telekinetic grab spell then click on the map piece. Congratulations!

If you have brought 10,000gp, simply talk to Wormbrain and buy the map piece for a hefty price of 10,000 coins! Congratulations!

The Boat

Now that you’ve retrieved all of the Crandor map pieces, you need a boat to get to the Island! You need to go back to the Guildmaster. He is in the Champions’ Guild, where you started this quest. Klarense in Port Sarim (where you found Wormbrain) is the answer to your prayers. Follow the map below and Klarense is in the yellow circle.

Talk to him about buying the boat, and he will put a 2,000gp price tag on the boat.

Accept, and the boat is yours! Climb aboard the boat and go below deck and you will see a big hole. It needs to be fixed. To fix the hole you need the following items:

3 planks - planks can be found in the Graveyard of Shadows, which is in level-19 wilderness. They can also be obtained by taking a log with some coins to the Sawmill Operator northeast of Varrock, or picked up on Entrana.
90 steel nails - these can be smithed with a steel bar, or bought from other players.
Once you have obtained those items, go back to the boat with them. Use each plank on the hole and the boat will be fixed! Well done! The Lady Lumbridge is now ready to set sail!

Kitting Up and Going to Crandor

If you use the map pieces with each other, they will turn into a Crandor map. For this next part, you’ll need to talk to Ned, who can be found in his house in Draynor Village.

By following the map above you will be able to find Ned. After talking to him, he’ll take your map and will meet you at the Lady Lumbridge.

Now, you need to prepare your equipment for killing the dragon. Here is a detailed list of things you will need to fight Elvarg:

A combat level of at least 40-50.
An inventory similar to this:

Lobsters or swordfish to heal big amounts of damage. The dragon can hit up to 10 damage! A strength potion is optional but will really help you. You could also bring some emergency teleport runes incase something goes wrong.
Equipment similar to this:

The rune armour can be replaced with adamant armour, as can the weapon. An amulet of power and strength will help a lot, too. Bringing a cape will also provide a small, yet precious, defense bonus. Do not forget the anti-dragon shield, or you are as good as dead! Here is a picture of somebody who forgot their shield:

Note: You can use the dragonfire shield (members only) as well.
Once you’re all kitted up, head to Ned at the Lady Lumbridge. Go below the deck and you will set sail for Crandor! Unfortunately, the dragon will attack the boat with fire breath and kill Cabin Boy Jenkins!

You will be forced to run away, and will wash up on Crandor. Ned appears to be missing, too!

Now, make your way to the cave entrance by following the map below.

Note: If you have fixed the boat and crashed it, you can use the shortcut wall under the Karamja Volcano. It is a much faster way to get to the dragon again if you die.

Once you’ve headed down into the volcano, go southeast for a while until you see a wall.

Now is the time to take a dose of strength potion, if you have one. Wield your anti dragon shield and activate prayers, such as ultimate strength and protection from melee or magic. The dragon uses a mixture of both. Once you’re ready, head into the area and start attacking Elvarg. Don’t let your hitpoints get too low!

After a long battle, Elvarg will hopefully be defeated. If it’s the latter, you will cut off the dragon’s head. You’ll need to find your way back to Oziach, and after talking to him, congratulations, quest complete!

18,650 experience in Strength and Defense.
Ability to wear a rune platemail and dragon leatherbody once you reach the requirements (40 defense for platemail, 40 ranged and defense for the leatherbody).
2 Quest Points
Rune Platemail

Upon completion of the quest, you will have the ability to buy and wield the rune platemail. You can buy it cheap from players or expensive from Oziach for 84,500gp! As you can see, the platemail’s stats are quite impressive!

Green Dragonhide Body

As well as the rune platemail, the green dragonhide body can be worn upon completion of this adventure. As the stats below clearly state, dragonhide provides excellent magic protection. You can buy a green dragonhide body from Oziach, or from another player.

Most freeplayers hate one thing: reduced bank space! Here are some helpful tips that will help you organize your bank to contain the useful items, and to let you know which items you don’t need to keep.

——————————————————————————–

Space-Saving Tips

There are several helpful tips that you can use to clean out your bank, without risking any items that you may need later on.

Food

Having both cooked and uncooked food of the same type (like both cooked and uncooked Lobsters) is useless unless you’re training cooking at the moment.

In this picture, there are both cooked and uncooked Lobsters. Since there are only 52 uncooked ones, it won’t take long to cook them, and with the use of the “cook-all ” option it’s even faster.

Always-Worn Items

Some items are better off to be worn, rather than sitting in your bank.

As you can see, capes, gloves, amulets, arrows and boots (not in this picture) can be equipped at all times. These items:

Increase your stats, including attack and defense.
Don’t weigh very much - jewelry doesn’t weigh anything.
Throw Away Useless Items

A lot of items can be discarded when you’re not using them, especially if you can just get them back for free or for small amounts of cash.

Holiday Items: Here are several items that can be easily obtained for free or small amounts of money. The Rubber Chicken and Yo-Yo may be thrown away since they could easily be gotten back from Diango in Draynor Village. They’re only fun items that you can show off, and this also uncludes Bunny Ears and Scythes.

Tiaras & Talismans: You can craft your own Tiaras used in Runecrafting, but you’ll also need a Talisman to make them. You may even be able to buy some from other players.

There is also no point in owning both Talismans and Tiaras; just convert your most used Talismans into Tiaras, and throw out the Talismans that you never use.

Equipment: Items that are used in skills (fishing equipment, farming items, moulds and crafting equipment, and items bought from the general store like buckets or tinderboxes) should just be tossed out, unless you use them very often. When you’re finished, just throw them away.

Random Items: This includes items like broken arrows, broken armor, burnt food and other useless items. Just throw them away, because they can’t be used. The exception is the Rusty Sword, which can be given to the Tindel Merchant in Port Khazard to identify. He’ll buy them for a decent amount of money.

Duplicates: Don’t keep multiple items for the same thing. If you have an Iron Hatchet and a Mithril Hatchet, either drop or sell the Iron one in a General Store. It’s pointless to have multiple items of the same type.

Also, it’s best to keep only one or two amulets of different kinds, such as Diamond Amulets. Try not to keep both enchanted and unenchanted amulets of the same kind either.

Never-Throw-Awayable Items

These items shouldn’t be thrown away just to save space.

Here are some items that should never be thrown away. This includes the cash, mining and woodcutting equipment (below mithril can be thrown out) and Runes.

Runes: Usually it’s safe to throw out Runes if they’re in a small number, unless you’re going to use them. Only keep Runes that you need; throw the rest out. Runes such as Law, Chaos, Death, and Nature should be sold rather than thrown away.

Holiday & Rare Items: Any holiday items such as Party Hats, Santa Hats, Pumpkins, Easter Eggs or Masks should never be thrown away (or eaten!), as they are worth quite a bit of money. Random Event items such as Frog Masks, Mime items, Lederhosen, and Camo should never be thrown away. Equipment above Mithril, or trimmed armor shouldn’t be thrown away either.

Train Your Skills With These!

If you have some items that you could train with, use them up rather than throwing them away.

Many items can also be better used for skill training, so rather than letting them sit in your bank, use them up!

Gems: Always cut your gems up, since they’re difficult to sell anyways, and can be used in Jewelry.

Feathers: Use these in fishing, rather than letting them hang around in your bank.

Rune Essence: Try to make these into useful Runes or merchant them.

Logs: You can use these in firemaking or fletching, or you could sell them. Usually, the lower-level logs can be burned or fletched, while it’s better to merchant the higher ones like Yew or Magic.

Quest Items & the Wise Old Man

Most rewards for Freeplayers aren’t very good, but if you have any doubts, it may be a good idea to visit the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village.

He will identify your quest items and he will help determine what you should and shouldn’t keep.

Silverlight: The only good use for this weapon is to kill demons, as it is equivalent to Rune when fighting them. If you have a Rune weapon, just drop Silverlight. You can always buy a replacement from Sir Prysin in Varrock Castle for 500gp.

Blurite Sword: This has no use, and unless you don’t have a better item, just toss it.

Amulet of Ghostspeak: Once you’ve finished the Restless Ghost Quest, this can be safely thrown out. You can get another one from Father Urhney in Lumbridge Swamp.

The Wilderness Fire Giant Dungeon is located in Members Wilderness South of the Anvil and Mine that are located a tiny bit west of the Mage Arena.

——————————————————————————–

Inside the Dungeon

To enter the dungeon you must go down a staircase situated inside an old, crumbling building.

Once within, you will be attacked by some level 28 Hill Giants or some level 48 Chaos Dwarves. As with most dungeons, the further in you go, the more deadly the monsters are.

——————————————————————————–

Inhabitants

Hill Giants - The Hill Giant is the easiest monster in the dungeon and there are five of them.

Chaos Dwarves - The Chaos Dwarves are level 48 and there are two in the room with the Hill Giants and two more in the second room through the gate.

Shadow Spiders - The Shadow Spiders are level 52. There are nine Shadow Spiders and they half your prayer each time one attacks you if you don’t have a health bar above your head. If you have an odd number of Prayer Points left you will keep the odd one. This means that they can never completly drain your Prayer, but they can get it down to 1.

Fire Giants - The Fire Giant is what the dungeon is named after. They are level 86 and there are five of them at the deepest part of the dungeon. When going into the room with the Fire Giants it is best to go through the gate just one square and then shut it again so that no Shadow Spiders can follow you in and drain your prayer.

——————————————————————————–

Spawns

As well as Monsters in this dungeon there are also two spawns of Herblore items. One is located in the room with the Hill Giants and one in the room with the Shadow Spiders.

Grimy Guam Leaf

The first spawn is a Grimy Guam Leaf. It is beside the West wall in the room with the Hill Giants.

Attack Potion (1)

The other spawn in the dungeon is an Attack Potion (1). It is in the room with the Shadow Spiders and is useful for using to increase your Attack level while training on any of the monsters in the dungeon.

The Dungeon of Tolna is available to all that have complete the quest, A Soul’s Bane. The dungeon is a great new place to train your combat on the variety of monsters. When you go to the dungeon it will not be as easy as during the quest, as the monsters are stronger. Use this guide if you want to know where the monsters are located, where the dungeon is and see how scary the dungeon is! If you have not completed the quest, reading on is pointless.

Quick Links
Getting There
A Map of the Dungeon
Inside the Dungeon

——————————————————————————–

Getting There

Requirements

The only requirements to get into the dungeon of Tolna is to complete the quest: A Soul’s Bane. It is recommended to be around 75+ combat though, if you want to last for longer than 2 minutes!

Recommended Items Are: food, prayer potions if you are going to use prayer, anti-poison potions if you are going to fight the Confusion Beasts, and a knowledge of the dungeon.

How to Get There

To get to the dungeon, you can take either of 2 routes. There is a recommended route, and another route that you can take:

Short route (red) - This route will take you from the Varrock east bank to the rift quickly. It will take you out of the east of Varrock, you then head north. Go east again at the statue, and head through the gate. Go south again and then west and you will find the rift.

Long route (yellow) - This route is not recommended, as it takes quite a long time. You head east out of Varrock east bank, then south. You head towards the digsite, except you got north-west instead of north. Eventually you will come to the rift.

The fastest way to the dungeon, however, is to Glory teleport to Al Kharid, take a Glider to the Grand Tree, Glider to Digsite, then walk north from Glider landing point.

Map of the Dungeon

——————————————————————————–

Inside the Dungeon

The dungeon can be confusing at first, so here is the main layout. When you arrive in the dungeon, you will be at a crossroad like this:

The dungeon has 4 different rooms; The Anger room, the confusion room, the fear room and the hopeless room.

The Anger Room

The anger room has the same animals from the quest (the anger unicorn, anger giant rat, anger goblin and anger bear), except you don’t have the weapons from the quest. You must use your own weapons here, meaning you cant hit quite as hard as before. The monsters are now level 47, instead of 45.

The Confusion Room

The confusion room is different to the one you were in during the quest. There is no doors and there is pillars from the ground to the roof. The monsters are now level 63, and hits 2 with poison. If you are going to train on these, a few anti-poisons are a must.

The Fear Room

The fear room is a lot more dangerous as the fear creatures are now level 55! They are not as bad as you might think though, as they don’t randomly pop out of the wall, you can see them!

The Hopeless Room

The hopeless room is the most dangerous of them all now. Not only do the hopeless creatures suck life from you to last for three rounds, they are now level 71!!! If you are going to spend time training on these, you will want plenty of lobsters, or better. As you may have guessed, there is no gap in this room, meaning there is no bridge!

Each of the 4 weapon subtypes (energy, missile, projectile, and hybrid) and each of the 4 weapon sizes (small, medium, large and capital) utilize a different group of ammunition. Each group of ammunition is further broken down into types, each of which has a different effect on weapon performance. Generally this involves improving one area of weapon performance while sacrificing another, for example increased damage with reduced range. Charges also include Mining Laser Crystals (for improved yield of specific ore types), capacitor booster charges, (for a quick boost of energy), bombs, Repair Nanites and scripts (used to improve module performance in one area while sacrificing another). Drones are unmanned modules that can be deployed and controlled by the player. Ships’ drone bays are limited in size thus only a certain number of drones can be carried. Furthermore each drone requires “bandwidth” to be controlled. Since ships have a bandwidth limit in addition to their drone bay size limit a player can only actively use a part of the drones in his ship’s drone bay. Drones can be deployed for example for mining, fighting, electronic warfare or ship maintenance.

CCP have recently begun work on implementing a game feature that will allow players to exit pods and interact with other player avatars in the communal setting of the interior of a station. CCP have not yet formally speculated on a release date for this feature. In March 2007 tentonhammer.com released in-development game footage of this feature, videotaped at GDC 2007 with the approval of CCP’s CMO, Magnus Bergsson. The ability to enter a planet’s atmosphere (planetary flight) and to interact with the surface is also mentioned as one of the future development plans. In Eve Fanfest 2005, a working prototype was demonstrated in which a Caldari “Crow” interceptor could be seen flying around over a planet surface. However CCP stated that full-scale integration of such features to the game requires an enormous effort and is only planned for post-Revelations production phases.

How to Create the Right Runescape User Name for You
Steps

1. With only 12 letters to make a username, you must pick a name carefully. Many people think having numbers in your name says your not creative enough to make an original name. Names also depend on what you will do in Runescape.

2. If you are a pure (you only train one skill, such as strength), you should have a name having something to do with your skill. An example: “Archer_Boy” would be a good name for a pure ranger.

3. If you are a main (working on all your skills) choose a name that isn’t in just one category. Such as: “Mage_Dude” would not be a good name for a main because the character is not a pure mage.

4. If you are a PKer (Player Killer) then you should have a scary name. “I_PK_U” or “U_Will_Die” would be good names for a PKer. Although it was mentioned before that numbers aren’t brilliant, they can be a PKer’s best friend. Adding spaces and numbers to your name makes it nearly impossible for a victim to look up your stats quickly.

5. Note:If you write pker or pure then more people might look up your name before they fight. If, however, you want to trick people saying you are a range pure and in the dueling ring pick a mage fight.(Secretly you will be a mage pure and you will very likely own them.)

Tips

?? Another great idea is to choose a name that has to do with something that you’re a fan of. An example is if you’re a fan of Naruto you can pick Naruto_fa_n2.

?? Don’t make a name too complicated or does not make sense. Names should be funny, cool or different, but should make sense. If you can’t find a good name for you user, try choosing something like, hello936 or 14236 or hieeeee123 or goodbye765.

?? Try adding on things like XxX, XOXO, XO etc. to the beginning or end of an already taken user name.

?? Also if you do pick a name with numbers use it to fill in letters such as 0 for o or 3 for e.

?? You can always use your nickname as your SN, adding Xs at the beginning/end.

?? If you are trying to avoid being looked up quickly, try giving yourself a name that is confusing to remember and look up, like “nmnmnmnmmnmn”.There is an almost endless number of combinations in confusing names that will confuse your opponent. Anything that looks the same will be great. Like o0o0o0I1lo0o0.

How to Runecraft Nature Runes for Money on Runescape
Steps

1. Before you start on this “How-To”, make sure you have completed the Heroes Quest (so you can recharge your glory). You must have a reasonable Defence level (50-99), or you will get owned in no time.

2. Gather materials. By materials, I mean Pure Essence (which sells for about 100 coins each on the forums), Dragon Hide Armor (Use Dragon Hide because it is cheap and has good protection against Magic), no less then 5 Glory Amulets (to be efficient — more is always better)(45-60k coins each), food you can eat between runs, and Dueling Rings.

3. Equip the following Items before heading off into the abyss:

o Coif

o Dragon Hide Armor including Vambraces

o Pick Axe of some sort

o Defence Amulet

o Dueling Ring

o God Book (Obtain from the Lighthouse Quest)

4. Start out at the Edgeville bank.

5. Equip all the Items listed above.

6. Withdraw any Pouches you have. Fill them with essence.

7. Withdraw as much essence as you can hold.

8. Walk north until you get to the Wilderness.

9. Switch Run on and head north following the River Lum.

10. At the top of the River is an NPC (non-player character) Zamorack Priest wearing all red. Right-click him and select “Teleport”. He will teleport you to the abyss.

11. Move quickly in the abyss or you will get ganged up on by many creatures level 44 and higher.

12. Locate a rock that you can mine, the rock looks like a tooth.

13. Mine through it and you will be in the inner ring of the abyss.

14. Locate the Nature Rift. Enter it.

15. You will appear next to the Nature Altar.

16. Craft your rune essence.

17. Empty your pouches out and craft them.

18. Use the dueling ring to go to Castle Wars and switch to the Glory Amulet to teleport to Edgeville, or if you brought the Glory amulet just teleport to edgeville.

19. Eat some food to replenish any health you lost on that run.

20. Repeat until you have used up all your essence then continue on to the next step.

21. Now you have to sell the Nature runes.

22. Go on to the forums and either search for someone buying nature runes, or make a new topic and put, “Selling Nature Runes!” in the title.

23. Usually natures sell for about 300-320 coins per. So with 1k essence you can make about 310k!

24. If you find someone buying natures for more then that hurry and post there before someone else does.

Tips

?? If you don’t want to risk your Glory Amulets and you don’t mind running a tiny bit further, you can bring Dueling Rings instead. Just bring a defense amulet or something similar, and a dueling Ring. After you craft the Nature runes teleport to Castle Wars. Bank the runes and withdraw your Glory amulet. Teleport back to Edgeville. Viola! Safe Glory Amulets.

?? Wear Boots of Lightness! These decrease the amount you weigh thus decreasing the amount of energy you lose. You don’t have to finish the Temple Of Ikov Quest to use them. Just start the quest.

?? Because the abyss is in another dimension, your prayer is drained when you enter it.

?? If you know you are about to be killed, try dropping your glory amulet and dragon hide right before you die. Then if you have the Gaze of Saradomin (Recruitment Drive Quest) you will appear in Falador instead of Lumbridge. Hurry to the bank and grab 10 laws and 10 air runes and a glory amulet. Teleport to Edgeville and run back to the wilderness.

?? After a while, you will need to run to the Heroes Guild to recharge your Glory Amulets.

?? If you bring a pickaxe or a hatchet it will save time looking for the agility or thieving entrances
