Speak to the Odd Old Man, who can be found east of Varrock and west of Canifis. He needs a collection of bones, and asks you for assistance. The eight bones he requires are a giant rat bone, a ram skull, a goblin skull, a big frog leg, a unicorn bone, bear ribs, a monkey paw, and a giant bat wing. It is important to note that the bones that you need to collect are not normal bone drops and can only be obtained while in the process of completing this quest.

Dark Beasts are in the Temple of Light a key and mourner set is required to access these Beasts. Also, you must have atleast started the hardest quest in Runescape(witch i have done WOOT!) Mournings End Part 2. The hardest and the longest quest and im serious, spent about 50 prayer pots on that quest and lost my mourners set atlest 4 times. Plus i had 62 Agility.

To stay down in the Temple of Light for atleast more than 10 Minutes you will need 85 Defence, since Dark Beasts hit common 15s. And ive killed a Dark Beast in my recent account before 45674567h so experience is in me but this was over 3 years ago Jagex might have made them stronger or weaker since the BIG update. And it was big more than 1.5k ppl were on every world, least was 1.4k but rarerly.
Guthans and 6-12 pieces of sharks are needed just incase Health drops down to 25-30. Prayer pots can be used but are a bit costly since i save my p pots for Barrows or Kalpihte. Plus this monster doesnt really do a lot of damage to players with 96 Defence i have heard. Also, a telly is always good Ardougne telly or Crystal, i use crystal since its the nearest to a bank and i lost my Mourners so i couldnt include that in there since i just made the pics last week.
A level of 90 Range is needed to kill a Dark beast with a Magic Bow with Rune arrows but its a couple seconds after so yea people stole my arrows, lost 100 will miss those. Anyways i came back and used a cannon and all those cannonballs are real just that my friend makes cannonballs for a living and he gives me discounts rofl. But he hardly sells to me so most are from different users. I also used a crystal bow and karils X Bow, i didnt really like the X bow since i lost a lot and im already at the 12th recharge for my Crystal Bow so i perfer Crystal bow, i also tried Rune knives and Rune Darts, trust me they do not work as you will need a really high Range level. There are some safe spots no much since their scattered everywhere so u have to stay by them for like 10 minutes so they get used 2 u i jsut took a cannon and hid somewhere they cant reach me roflmao. Its not multi combat everywhere so you are lucky.

Many people who have ever survived the wilderness would tell you that it’s not filled with anything interesting. But it is! The wilderness used to be the center of pking, but now it is a place for tons of adventure, with revenants roaming around. Some parts of the wilderness are ONLY available to members.

The beings: The wilderness is filled with vicious monsters and ghosts, but if you know where they are and what they do, it’s quite easy to avoid/defeat them. First off, there is the revenants, which are probably the most dangerous. The revenants come in a variety of levels, from revenant imps to dragons. They use all three of the combat types: Magic, ranged, and melle, so even if you put the protect prayer on, the revenants will change the attacks. These are also VERY strong for their level, and should not be underestimated. In the beginning, there were many revenant hunters because no one knew their drops, but as soon as everyone knew that the drops were not worthwhile, the numbers of revenant hunters have depleted. Other monsters also exist in the wild, like the KBD (king black dragon), demons, giants, chaos elemental, and ghosts. There are also normal people like monks, and zamorakian followers.

The places: Most of the things in the wilderness are broken and old, but you can find interesting places like the magic battle arena, the demonic ruins, bounty hunter, and clan wars. There are also certain locations that can be found that are not that useful, yet are landmarks like the ruined church, graveyard, and others.

Stuff to do: In the wilderness there are certain things to do like play bounty hunter, which was a game released to sort of act as pking, clan wars, or revenant hunt. One of the best things that many like to do is to just adventure. The whole point of wilderness nowadays after the pk update would be to kill the demons, while slaying revenants along the way. There is also a fishing place east of deep wilderness, where you don’t have to go to the bank and buy lobsters.

So now that you are finished learning about the wilderness, why not walk out of the safety of Varrokand go explore?

I hope you learned a lot. Good luck on making your potions!I recommend you buy runescape gold and cheap runescape accounts, for our website has run gold business for a very long time and shares good delivery reputation. You can come and have a look !Lots of runescape money and runescape items is supplied for you.

When you are burying bones, a Zombie or Shade may appear and attack. It’s level will depend on your’s, so if you are a higher level you can expect Zombies in the level 120 and 159 range. If you are of a lower level the Zombies will also be significantly lower.

Zombies can drop various amounts of Fishing Bait, 35 Chaos Runes, 2-6 Big Bones, 1 Dragon Bone and 1 Big Bone. Beware that these monsters are very strong so “Protect from Melee” is recommended.

Shades drop shade robes which give a little prayer bonus. These monsters are also very strong so “Protect from Melee” is also recommended.

When burying bones, you may get the Gravedigger random event. Leo the Gravedigger will take you to a graveyard and will ask you to help put the coffins under the correct gravestone. When opening a coffin, you will see items that the person had when dead. The gravestone will show a rotating picture that will give you an idea of which coffin should be placed under the gravestone. For example, a chef hat would stand for a cook, so the cook’s coffin should go under the gravestone. When you are done, talk to Leo and he will reward you with Zombie clothing or the emotes Zombie Walk or Zombie Dance.

The Monastery
Although there is no specific guild for people with high prayer, there is a special area in the Monastery (north-east of Falador) for people with higher than average prayer. If you have level 31 or higher prayer you can enter the second floor of the monastery, which is often referred to as the Prayer Guild. In this guild you can find a Monks Robe respawn (both top and bottom), a special altar which gives +2 extra prayer points when you recharge there (so if you pray at it with 33/44 prayer, your prayer recharges to 46/44), and Brother Jered, who will enchant your Holy Symbols of Saradomin.

Holy Wrench
Upon completion of the Rum Deal quest, you will receive a Holy Wrench. The Holy Wrench will restore an additional 1-2 prayer points when drinking a Prayer Potion. It may also slow prayer drain. It is a very useful item when PKing, “Barrowing”, finishing Fight Caves or any other action that requires prayer or prayer potions.

Are you community focused?

Hi guys,

In the recent CM blog, we talked about our moderator team and our desire to increase the size of it both in game and on the forums. We talked about what we look for in moderators and of course, what we don’t.

Since then, we’ve been inundated with players keen to get involved with the moderator teams based on their involvement in the community. As this has resulted in stacks of threads all over the forums we’ve decided to create a centralised thread instead.

We’ve never created a thread for people to register their interest in joining our teams of moderators so this is something of a trial run for us. So, to make it work, we need to work together on this. Obviously if the thread becomes a spam box of nonsense, we’ll can it but I’m sure that won’t happen. ; )

If you contribute to the community and would like to be considered as a moderator of either the forums or the game itself, we’d be happy to hear from you.

To help you know what we’re looking for, here are just some of the things we look for in a moderator:

a. A contributor to the community
b. A player that plays in the spirit of the game (so no scammers plox!)
c. A player with a secure account
d. A player who doesn’t have an excessive number of offences on their account

There are lots of other things that tell us if a player is suitable but it’s very much on a case by case basis.

One thing I can’t stress enough though is that if we don’t invite you to be a moderator, it doesn’t mean for a minute that we value you any less as a member of our community. It takes all types to make up the RuneScape community and hey, we don’t want a game where everyone is a mod anyway do we?

It may be that we just simply don’t have enough information about you to make the call. It may be that you still have black marks against your account and so we’d like to check out your account for a little longer. It may be that you lost control of your account due to a little brother jumping on and spamming up Varrock. We know it’s not your fault and once we’ve seen that your account is secure, we may well take another look and get that invite out to you.

Ok, now before you post your interest in becoming a moderator, there are a few other points to consider:

1. Posting here doesn’t make you a moderator. As ever, all accounts are checked in great detail before we consider sending an invite.
2. We are constantly looking all over RuneScape for moderators so please don’t hold your breath as it may be quite some time before you hear from us.
3. We won’t be able to give feedback to players who’ve not been invited so please don’t ask!
4. Please avoid multiple posts or posts from multiple accounts requesting that we look at your account, once is enough.
5. All posts will be autohidden.
6. All moderators are required to register their contact details with us.
7. When telling us about yourself, please explain why you’d like to join the team and how you support the community.
8. If there’s another player who’s stuck out as being very community minded, feel free to let us know here.
9. This thread will be just one of the many ways we look for potential moderators. So don’t feel you *have*to post here to let us know of your interest.
10. To help us check you out as efficiently as possible, please use the following format:

Account Name:
Why you’d like to join the team (no more than 100 words please!):
What kind of player are you? (ie, “I’m a skiller”, “I’m a pker”, “I’m a troll”.
How you enjoy supporting the community:

Ok, I think that’s enough rules and stuff. Feel free to post and we look forward to hearing from you.

To some of the slayer masters can get you tasks to complete that will help you level this skill. For Master Mazchna you’ll need a combat level of 20 to do any of these tasks, although some are the same or similar to Turael’s tasks. That is his requirement. He is above Turael in tasks, but below the rest of the Masters. You’ll be able to find him close to the clothing vendor in the NE section of Canifis.

Cave Bugs and Cave Slime – Mazchna may have you go off to slay these two. They are going to be found in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves.

Cave Crawler, Pyrefiends, and Cockatrices – These two are both found in Fremennik Slayer Caves.

Bears – Bears are another animal that may be on the list to slay. These are going to be in the Ardougne Mine or you can travel north of Falador to find them.

Banshees and Crawling Hands – These both are going to be found in the Canifis Slayer Tower. They are just one of many that Mazchna may give you to slay to level up your skill.

Ice Warrior – These are going to be found in the Port Sarim Ice Cavern to finish this Slayer task.

Kalphites – Rounding out the list of things that Mazchna may send you to kill, the Kalphites are in the Kalphite Dungeon.

Mogres – Mogres are going to be seen in the Mudskipper Point for this task.

Skeletons – If he sends you to kill skeletons you’ll have a variety of spots to choose from. Skeletons are going to be in the Draynor Manor, around the Karamja Volcano, and the Edgeville Dungeon.

Bats – These flying creatures are another on the list. They are found in the Taverley Dungeon and all near the Keep La Faye.

Catablepon – If you are sent to slay Catablepons you will need to be in the Stronghold of Security to find them.

Vampires – To go and slay the vampires that you are going to be sent for in a task, you’ll need to go to the Canifis east swamp.

Wall Beasts – If sent to slay Wall Beasts you are going to find those in the Lumbridge Slayer Dungeon.

Zombiesand Hill Giants – These are both found in the Edgeville Dungeon, so if he sends you to do either of these, there they are.

Congratulations on getting a Runescape membership! Pay to Play (P2P) offers a huge new universe for members to explore, uding tons of cities, wow golddungeons, monsters, skills, quests, money-making, and more!his guide will discuss some new avelossibilities, recommend some quests that are helpful to new members, address starting each of the new member skills available (Agility, Construction, Farming, Fletching, Herblore, Slayer and Thieving), and discuss other member features encountered while coming acquainted with the wider domain of Runescape P2P.If you are new to the world of Runescape in general, you may also want to look at Tip.It’s Beginners’ Guide, which contains basic information about the game that applies to both Free To Play (F2P) and P2P.When reviewing the many helpful Tip.It guides, be reminded: as a member, the “shaded” members runescape golditems in tables are available to you!Return to TopGetting Around and New Areas to ExploreThe Runescape P2P surface land is many times larger than Free to Play (F2P): see Tip.It’s 1.4MB interactive World Map. New members may want to keep a map handy for quick reference while becoming familiar with new areas.Enchanted jewellery transports are a significant member advantage. The Getting Around Guide lists the various methods of transportation available in Runescape, most of which are exclusive to members. The Gnomechristian audigier gliders and Spirit trees both have quest requirements, as do many others. An early issue confronting new members is “How do I get to the member areas?” On Karamja, just walk west to the Brimhaven gate. Then you can head north and pay 30 gp to take the ship to Ardougne, home of the Market Square thieving area.To start training Agility, go to the Tree Gnome Stronghold Agility course.

Agility is helpful for short cuts which get you around faster, and in numerous quests. With increased Agility, you also have more energy so you can run longer (good for getting places, and an advantage in the Wilderness!) Run energy is discussed in the Getting Around Guide.Cartier watches You can improve your run energy by getting some boots of lightness from the Temple of Ikov north of the Ardougne farming patches (the quest is not required) – simply take a lit candle and a slashing weapon (such as a dagger or sword) into the temple, then go west and down the stairs. Slash the web in front of the only red dot in the room, and grab several pairs of the boots to keep backups. Agility is the only member skill that works in Free to Play (F2P) worlds – your run energy will deplete slower in F2P as well as P2P.To start training the long-awaited nstruction skill, go to an Estate Agent office in Varrock, Falador, Seers’ Village, or East Ardougne (locations shown in guide). rchase a house for 1K, and follow the Construction Beginner’s Guide Walkthrough for step by step instructions to achieve level 5. Use Tip.It’s handy, unique and sortable Construction Table to learn what you can build at each level, includingvacuum cups the aterials and other requirements for each item.o start Farming, you need some potato seeds. Go to Draynor Village market square and buy some seeds from Olivia’s stall (or steal them if your Thieving is 10 or higher). Then go northwest to the farm located north of Port Sarim’s bar, just southeast of Falador. Inside you can buy most of the Farming equipment you will need (a Seed dibber, a Rake, and a Watering can) for very little money (less than 100 gp). Fill your Watering can at the Sink or Rain barrel. Proceed north outside and hop the stile to the farming patch, then follow the instructions in Tip.It’s Farming guide to plant your first crop.

Your “Combat Level” is a composite of all your combat skills, which include
your primary attack skill (Attack, Range or Magic..  whatever skill is higher
at the time), Strength, Defense, Prayer & HP skills.  To check your Combat
Level, click on the stats tab & look at the lower part of the window for the
“Combat Level” listing.  Do not be surprised if your combat level is stated
higher than any of your actual levels.  Again, this is a composite level &
all 6 parts that comprise this level are greater than their separate parts.

If you’re within reasonable combat range with a monster, the monster’s combat
level will be displayed.  RuneScape uses a visual system to give you a hint
of your survival chances by giving you a “color”.  The colors on this system
is as follows…

* No Display  = “Nice Knowing You!” (Practically NO CHANCE of surviving)
* Red Text    = You have little chance of surviving…
* Orange Text = You have a fair shot (33-50%) chance of surviving.
* Yellow Text = You have a 50/50 chance of surviving.
* Green Text  = You’ll most likely survive the fight.

Please be aware that the “Combat Color” is based on ideal battle conditions,
like being at full health, & your primary combat skill.  Here’s a few examples
of things you may run up against.

EX 1) You have Lv 15 Combat (Melee-based) & you’re planning on fighting Lv 10
Dwarves.  You’ll probably be able to take on about 2 Dwarves without any food,
but fighting 3 or more in one go could kill you. — Moral: Know your limits!

EX 2) You have Lv 23 Combat (Melee-based) & Lv 12 Magic fighting a Lv 7 Dark
Wizard.  You’d be able to kill the wizard fairly easy when fighting as a
Knight, but your survival chances drop to 50/50 or less when fighting as a
Mage. — Moral: Stick to your primary combat skill when needed.
