Now after that head over to varrock and take the grand exchange tutorial and then buy a few trout maybe 12 or so because you don’t take that much damage in the stronghold of security. Then after you are done the stronghold of security you should do the stronghold of player safety and remember that you use the xp lamps on hp. After that you should have the 20k from the strongholds plus however much you get from the items off the tutorial island. Now you can go a head and buy 1 set full iron all scimitars up to mithril and use the rest of your money to buy cakes to use for training. If you want to know why you don’t buy a rune scimitar its because rune scimitars currently go for 30-40k or more.

You will accouter some ice trolls lvl (124). Kill 5 of them using protect from melee and kill them using melee, magic or range. Still I killed them very easy with some fire spells and my friend was using melee and he was fighting quite longer.

After you killed 5 of them you can go trough the cave. I recommend to get new supplies because you will need to be at you’re best to defeat Kamil. Make sure you got 4-5 super restore potions a few prayer pots and the best food you can get. Go to through the ice gate again (if you went back) and go to the cave opening to the south east. Get inside and you will come out through the outer side. Folow the path and you will encounter some wolfs. There are lots of them so put protect from melee on. After the wolves Kamil will appear and you need to kill him.

before Jagex introduced the anti scam and RWT update it was not unusual to have a low level player asking for a whip when I was killing Abyssal Demons, my normal reply was sorry just alched my last whip drop or I will leave the next one on the floor for you, these players thought that whip drops were a common drop, the reality is they once were a common drop but have had their drop rate reduced considerably.

When I first got 85 slayer many many moons ago I went to the abyssal space and had a slaughter fest on the Abyssal Demons, the first time I went there I had 2 whips and a shield left half in about an hour, following tasks I had at least 1 whip when fighting the demons sometimes 2, it was indeed rare not to get a whip drop, I even sent a friend of mine off to world 2 Fally to sell my whips for me some 23 whips, this is when they were worth 3 to 4m each, how many people can trust a friend like that?

All of a sudden I could have many tasks and not get a whip drop, there was widespread rumours that whip drops had been nurfed and my experience certainly backed that claim up.
We all know that Runescape good drops are random and you can have a good day and a bad day but the change really was dramatic and noticeable.

The other day I had a slayer task for Abyssal Demons and I had a whip drop, my next task was the same Abyssal Demons, two of the same monster tasks in a row has only been possible since the recent update to slayer but guess what? I got another whip drop, a few days later I had Dark Beasts and guess what I got a Dark Bow drop, when the Dark Bow was first introduced I spent all day there and never got a bow, the following day I got a Dark Bow as my second kill, in those days slayer tasks for Dark Beasts was 9 to 19 beasts, now you can have as many as 199, they are easy to kill but require prayer to stay any length of time, on my task I killed 3/4 of my task and got a Dark Bow, I had to leave to get more prayer pots and came back and guess what? I got another Dark Bow, has the drop rate been increased or was I just lucky?
You may remember a while ago I had two Draconic Visages 1 from black and 1 From steel Dragons and a Zammy hilt when I soloed K’ril at God Wars in a 2 week period, so luck does appear to come in batches.

I have also recently had a Dragon Spear and a Shield Left Half, I could be back on one of my lucky streaks, having said that the shield left half sold for about 60k, the last one I had was worth 700K, last time I checked the Dragon Square Shield was worth less than the cost of the shield right half so I sold the half shield.

I personally don’t mind poor drop rates, I would sooner have a few drops worth a lot of money than a lot of drops worth a little.

Has anyone else noticed a difference or am I just lucky?

Is a sceptre formed from two skull halves and two staff halves. It has the power to teleport the user to the Barbarian Village. The bad thing about the sceptre is that you can teleport only 5 times. You can’t have more than one complete sceptre at a time, but you can have many pieces of the sceptre you want.

Why Should I Have One?

Everybody wants this sceptre. You can’t buy and sell the sceptre or its pieces, you need to find them. This sceptre is very cool and beautifull, and it can teleport you to Barbarian Village 5 times. If you have a high combat level, you should get as many pieces as you can, to use the teleport a lot of times.

Ok, I Like It, But… How Do I Get It?

Now, I hope your combat level is not to low. Wear the better armour you can, bring some food (tuna or better), and (if you want) some strength potions. Now lets start. First, go to the Barbarian Village, with your armor wielded, your food, and go down the entrance. This is the Stronghold of security. You need to have a security question and a bank PIN to enter some levels. When you enter the stronghold, pass the gates, answering the questions, untill you find Minotaurs(level 12). Kill them, untill one of them drop a half of the skull. When you get the half, continue to the end of the level. Get the prize and go down. Now you need to pass the gates again untill you find a Flesh Crawler(level 28) Kill it, untill it drop one of the staff halves. Now continue passing the gates, answering the questions, and when you find the end, get your prize, and go down. Now, continue passig the gates to find some Catablepons(level 49). Now kill them untill you get the other staff  half(it can be very slow). Beware the spiders, they are annoying. Now continue, and get your prize again, and go down. Now, pass the gates, carefull with the monsters. Find a boney ghost. It is the Ankou(level 82). I hope you have a lot of food with you. Fight it if you think you can, and try to get the other half of the skull. When you get it, use the halves of the skull in each other to form a Strange Skull. Do the same with the halves of the staff, to get a Runed Sceptre. Now use the Runed Sceptre in the Strange Skull to get a Skull Sceptre!!! Congratulations! You have the Skull Sceptre! To teleport, just “operate” it!

Getting the Varrock Armor in RuneScape is somewhat time consuming, especially if you want to get the Varrock 3 set. Yes, like some other RuneScape armor sets, there are three different levels of Varrock Armor. The steps outlined below list how to get the first level of Varrock Armor.

Completing the Varrock Achievement Diary
Complete the following requirements to finish the Varrock Achievement Diary. You can do some of these in any order, although you will need to complete step 1 to begin the diary quest.

1.) Speak to Rat Burgiss (south of Varrock), Reldo (Varrock Castle), or Vannaka (Edgeville dungeon). Ask any of them what the achievement diary is.
2.) Go to Thessalia in Varrock and ask her what different outfits your character can wear.

3.) Visit Aubury’s Rune Shop and have him teleport you to the essence mine.
4.) Mine iron ore south-east of Varrock
5.) Create a plank using the sawmill. You will need a plain set of logs and 100 gold.
6.) Visit the Stronghold of Security and go down to the second level.
7.) Leap the fence just to the west of Rat Burgiss.
8.) Go to the Lumber Yard and cut down a dying tree.
9.) Buy the Varrock Herald for 50 gold from Benny.
10.) Give a bone to any of the dogs in VArrock
11.) Create a bowl on the pottery wheel and fire it in the oven in the Barbarian Village (you must be in the village).
12.) Go to Edgeville Dungeon via the entrance located south of Edgeville.

13.) Speak to the Varrock estate agent and have him more your house portal. This will cost 5,000 gold and you must already own a house.
14.) Obtain 50 kudos and then talk to Haig Halen, the Varrock museum curator.
15.) Use an earth talisman or tiara to visit the Earth Altar.
16.) Visit Varrock’s church and offer Elsie a cup of tea. Listen to her story.
17.) Mine limestone near the Paterdomus temple east of Varrock.
18.) Go to the river located to the east of the Barbarian Village. Fish until you catch a trout.
19.) Go through the Varrock Sewers until you find a web and then slash it.
20.) Go to the highest point in the city of Varrock by going up to the Church’s third floor.
21.) Return to Rat Bugiss

Conclusion
That’s all it takes to get the Varrock Armor 1 set. If you lose it, just speak to Rat again and he will give you another set. The armor gives you better discounts from Varrock merchants, gives you the chance of mining two ores at once while mining, and gives you the chance of smelting two bars instead of one when smelting. Once you have the Varrock Armor 1, you can then begin the next list of tasks to get the Varrock Armor 2 and then Varrock Armor 3.
