Free Runescape Accounts – Runescape Success
One of the things that differentiates Runescape from most other MMO games is the sheer fact that it was built off its success as a free online game first, and still to this very day offers players a free Runescape account option, where there is no initial or ongoing payment involved with playing. These free Runescape accounts is where Jagex built this loyal following to their game and many believe it will sustain its foothold on the MMORPG market. Runescape were the first to introduce the two style play of both free account and paying account version of their game where a large proportion of the game is able to be played with a free account yet if players are willing, they are able to pay a small monthly fee of $5 to receive all the benefits of being a member.
Free Runescape Accounts versus Paying Members
So what are the perks of being a member rather than just having a free Runescape account? Well the biggest difference is the sheer amount of things to do as a member. There are more skills, loads more quest more ways to earn Runescape gold and many more lucrative item and gold drops from many of the creatures that are found in the member’s version of Runescape.
Offering Free Runescape Accounts for How Long?
Is the creation of the pay to play Runescape account option a sign of the inevitable future of Runescape going completely commercial? Whilst most MMO are based on some form of pay to play model Runescape seems to have successful marketed their subscription version such that it can both cater for both free account users and member accounts whilst still offer a relatively continual flow of updates and developments for paying customers. In addition to this Jagex has used this model of two style of play successful for three years now without ever hinting of a complete removal of the free version of the game and as such it would be expected that they will continue to offer free Runescape accounts for the foreseeable future.
How to get your Free Runescape Account
So if you are looking for you free Runescape account all you have to do is signup and register your account over at www.runescape.com the signup process only takes a few moments, and after completing Runescape’s tutorial island you will be well on your way to understand the complex game of Runescape.
Buying Unwanted Runescape Accounts – Accounts for Sale
In the last year or two there has been increasing demand for Runescape accounts and Runescape gold, and with anything in life, if there is demand and it can be supplied at a profit people will more than likely be willing to oblige by selling their product or service. In this case of Runescape accounts there seems to always be Runescape accounts for sale on eBay along with Runescape gold and items, but be warned not only are the majority of such auctions fraudulent attempts to scam buyers of their money they are also against Runescape usage policy which stipulates that there is to be no real world trading for Runescape accounts or in-game gold or items. So even if you were able to purchase an account Jagex itself would most likely be ban that account if it managed to work out that it was purchased illegitimately. So whilst many of the offers may seem tempting you are much better off just to create your own free Runescape account and play the game for fun and enjoyment whilst developing your character along the way.
Have you ever wanted to teleport to a location you haven’t been to for a while, only to find yourself looking through every icon to find the one you need? Our latest upgrade will put an end to this. The magic interface has a new feature that will enable you arrange your spells by category, and display either combat spells or teleport spells at the top of the interface. The default order will be the current, level-based one. This applies to all magic spell books.
The “you are here” button will now mark where you are on the world map, which you can open by clicking on the globe next to the minimap in the top-right-hand corner. This should make it easier for you to plan your journeys, as you’ll have a much clearer idea of your starting point.
One idea that came from the forums was to add a new teleport option to the ring of duelling so that it takes you to the Fist of Guthix minigame, and also to make the ring react more quickly when it has been activated. So we did exactly that! Thanks for the idea.
We’ve also made a small change to PvP worlds, so now the Teleport Block spell will be available to all players, not just members (although its level and rune requirements will stay the same).
Finally, it is now easier to ask gardeners to chop down trees for you, the LootShare radius is larger (and more symmetrical) than before, and Pikkupstix can now enchant the Slayer helmet for use as a Summoning headdress.
The full list of this week’s patches and fixes is available in the Recent Updates forum.
Enjoy these upgrades, and let us know what you think.

In other news…
You can now refill your plant pots from Farming patches even if you have a crop growing on the patch.
If you need crushed gemstone, such as in the Fairy Tale Part I quest, you can now get it by smashing opals, jade and red topaz with a hammer.
If you completed the Hazeel Cult quest by supporting Hazeel but have lost the Mark of Hazeel, you can now get another one from Clivet.
The “Empty” option on pots of bonemeal has been placed below the “Use” option, so that you don’t accidentally empty them quite so often.
Players are no longer allowed to sit around Fletching and alching things while they’re meant to be participating in the Great Orb Project.
It seems that some players have been wielding ‘fun’ weapons in single-way PvP to increase their drop potential. We’ve changed this so that any players with ‘fun’ weapons no longer increase their potential.
Ever tried to find a world to play on in the US and not known which would be suitable? Well, now we’ve added several of the states in which RuneScape is most popular to the world-select page. Even if your state isn’t on the list, why not log in to one of the others? This change doesn’t affect the world numbers available, and there’s nothing to stop you from playing on whichever world you choose.

abyss,the
the “Abyss” was introduced into RuneScape, which dramatically affected both the Runecrafting skill its and related economy. More specifically, it reduced the time and effort needed to Runecraft. Effortlessly Runecrafting with the Abyss can net over 300k an hour making Nature runes. As easy as it may be, there are some associated risks with using the Abyss. This guide will elucidate on these risks and provide helpful solutions and tips to these risks. It will also give you the basic information that you need to use the Abyss.
1.1 – What to Bring
You should wear the gear that has the highest possible magic defence bonus for your level, without weighing you down too much. This is because the main threat to your Runecrafting are greedy PKers who try to stop you from reaching the Abyss. Here’s what you should wear:
Best dragonhide armor set you can use (red dragonhide and above are recommended)
Coif ( Although the best helmet to use is a bear head, which you receive upon completing Mountain Daughter. Bear head gives +9 defence to ranged and +7 to magic defence.)
Pickaxe ( To lose less money, use pickaxes from bronze to mithril )
God cape (if you’ve done Mage Arena)
Spotter/Spottier cape ( Reduces weight and comes more effective while running )
Elemental shield (if you’ve done the Elemental Workshop I quest, mind shield if you’ve done the Elemental Workshop II quest, or a holy Saradomin book)
Boots of lightness
Amulet of Glory
Ring of dueling
Karamja Gloves(3) – Gloves which you can wear and they give you a chance to teleport to Shilo and can protect you against PK’ers.
The equipment shown gives a +107 magic defence bonus. ( Changes to 97 when wearing spotter/spottier cape )
With your respect Runecrafting level, you should bring:
Levels 44-49: One small pouch and one medium pouch
Levels 50-74: One small pouch, one medium pouch, and one large pouch
Levels 75+: One small pouch, one medium pouch, one large pouch, and one giant pouch
The rest of your inventory should be ( Pure ) essence. Don’t forget to fill your pouches! Having your pouches in a vertical position in the inventory is really effective and faster while emptying your pouches.
Note: I would also suggest having at least 5 fully charged Amulets of Glory in your bank. Over 10 is recommended. If at any time during Runecrafting you need to recharge your Amulets of Glory, you should do so. If you don’t want to use Amulets of Glory, bringing a Teleport to House teleportation tablet would be a good idea if you have an Amulet of Glory on the wall. Also, keep in mind that you need a fair amount of rune essence in your bank. A good Runecrafter will always have a decent amount of essence stocked in their bank. Bringing the ring of life instead of the ring of dueling is another common strategy; if you suffer from lag while trying to operate the ring of dueling, it could result in your death.
——————————————————————————–
2.0 – Monsters
There are three kinds of monsters inside the Abyss: Abyssal Leech (Level 41), Abyssal Guardian (Level 59), Abyssal Walker (Level 81).
These monsters drop all four of the pouches. They also drop every single kind of talisman, but the higher level talismans, such as the nature talisman, are rare. They can drop Rune essence in note form and in item form, ashes, Binding Necklaces, which are used to bind two types of runes together, and Elemental talismans, which are members only, and allow you to enter any elemental altar. The fastest way to gather pouches is to kill Abyssal Leeches ( Level 41 ) as they only have 10 hitpoints.
——————————————————————————–
3.0 – The Pouches
To use the pouches you’ll need a certain Runecrafting level. The better the pouch is the higher the Runecrafting level requirement. While a pouch is in use, it will degrade. Only the highest level pouch you have on you will degrade. When degraded, they hold two less essence. To get them fixed you’ll have to talk to the Dark Mage in the center of the Abyss.
Pouch Table
Picture Name Level Required Holds…
Small Pouch 1 3 essence
Medium Pouch 25 6 essence
Large Pouch 50 9 essence
Giant Pouch 75 12 essence

4.0 – Getting There – The Zamorakian Mage
The Abyss is only accessible after you have aided the Zamorakian Mage in his Abyss Mini-Quest. Speak to him at the source of the river north of Edgeville (level 5-6 Wilderness), and he will tell you to meet him at the chaos altar in Varrock. The chaos altar is south of the east Varrock bank.. Speak to him, and eventually he will ask you to take his Scrying Orb and teleport to the Rune Essence Mine from three different people. (For example, the Rune shop in Varrock, the mage north-east of Ardougne, and the mage at the bottom of the Wizard’s tower.)
Once you have done this, return to him and give him the orb. He will give you a book on the Abyss, a small pouch, and 1,000 Runecrafting experience. When you meet the mage back at the source of river north of Edgeville (level 5-6 Wilderness), he will be able to teleport you to the Abyss, and can also sell you runes. He stocks 500 of each rune.
Warning: When you are teleported to the Abyss, you will be skulled and your prayer will be drained. The monsters there can hit hard, but are fairly inaccurate.
——————————————————————————–
5.0 – The Abyss
The Abyss is made up of an outer ring, an inner ring, and a center. When you are teleported there, you appear in the outer ring with all the monsters. The inner ring contains the portals that will take you to every rune altar. In the very center of the Abyss, there is a Dark Mage and a swirling rift. The Mage is keeping that particular rift open, but you can speak to him to repair your pouches.
The outer ring and the inner ring of the Abyss are separated. To get into the inner ring from the outer, you will have to go through a tunnel; however, the tunnels are guarded or blocked. You can get past the obstacles, but you need certain items or skills:
Obstacle Tactic (Skill) Item required
Eyes Distract (Thieving) None
Gap Squeeze Through (Agility) None
Boil Burn Down ( Firemaking ) Tinderbox
Blockage You can’t go through N/A
Tendrils Chop (Woodcutting) Woodcutting axe (hatchet)
Rock Mine (Mining) Pickaxe
Passage Go through None
The Portals
The portals, or rifts that take you to the altars are located on the wall of the inner ring, and they look like small caves. These rifts are the only way (save teleporting or dying) out of the Abyss if you get caught. Once you exit through a rift, there is no way back into the Abyss, so you will have to walk or teleport to get out. Abyss Runecrafting using this method is faster for chaos and nature runes than for elemental runes.
——————————————————————————–
6.0 – PKers
When you enter the Abyss, you are automatically skulled and your prayer is drained to 0. This paints a gigantic bullseye on your forehead for PKers. Melee PKers are less to worry about than mage PKers. The two types of mage PKers that you will find near the Abyss: Ancient Mages, who will like freeze you in place, and kill you with ice spells, and regular mages, who can entangle, tele-block, and use combat spells on you.
Here are a few things you can do to ensure your safety:
1) When heading out to the Mage of Zamorak, attack the skeletons. As the area is not a multi-combat zone, if the skeletons are attacking you, Pkers cannot.
2) Wear dragonhide armor. This has some pretty decent magic defence to protect against mages, and can be a life-saver.
3) Know who is in the wild. If you make it past some PKers who could have attacked you, it is probably best to switch servers to save yourself from that risk the next time around.
4) Know your location. Are you closer to the Zamorak mage, or the non-wild? If you are closer to the Mage of Zamorak, he’s a better option to get out of a bind than the non-wild.
5) If attacked by Ancient Mages, teleporting with your glory is still an option. With regular mages, you can be tele-blocked, so then clearly you cannot teleport. If you enter the Abyss and you are teleblocked, than the only solution is to wait, until the effect is gone. This was recently updated by Jagex, so logging out unfortunately doesn’t stop the effect of the spell now.
6) Wear (mostly) easily replaceable items. Abyss Runecrafting in your party-hat is dumb.
7) While the equipment at the top of this guide is recommended, many Runecrafters prefer to carry nothing but pouches, essence and a ring of dueling (Using the ring to teleport to Castle Wars, then using an Amulet of Glory to teleport back to Edgeville). While this reduces the cost of death, it also increases the chances of being killed by PKers and the monsters in the Abyss alike.
Bring a teleport tablet or an ectophial. Even if you’re worried about the PKer tele-blocking you, don’t worry. Nine times out of ten they will try to freeze or entangle you before casting their tele-block.
9) Dropping your items . For this procedure to be initiated correctly, precise timing is needed. To prevent yourself from losing your glory amulet, all you need to do is drop your amulet at the last possible second. If timed correctly, you can run back to where you died and pick it back up before it becomes visible to the public, however you must be very fast. 10) Teleport via your house. Using your house teletablets when runecrafting via the Abyss can come in very handy. Assuming you have to correct materials, you can then use your mounted glory and teleport back to Edgeville, resulting in having no risk whilst entering the Abyss.

7.0 – Strategy
Requirements and Recommendations
Quests
Heroes’ Guild
Recommended: Elemental Workshop I
Recommended: Elemental Workshop II
Skills
44 Runecrafting
Recommended: +60 Defence
Recommended: +50 Ranged
Other
Abyss Mini-Quest
Recommended: Mage Arena
Procedure
First, head to Edgeville bank. Once you fully meet the requirements and prepare your supplies, you are ready to start. Head north-east and follow the river until it ends. There should be the Zamorak Mage which you helped earlier. Right click on him, and ask him to teleport you to the Abyss.
(Note: If there is any other PKers that are 4, 5, or 6 combat levels within yours that are near you, they are likely to attack you. Since you are armored up with the best magic defence, the best thing you can do is run by them to the Zamorak mage for the sake of the current trip and switch worlds when you are ready to go back.)
He will immediately chant a phrase and teleport you to the outer rim of the Abyss. You will see that it is filled with level-41 Abyssal Leeches, level-59 Abyssal Guardians, and level-81 Abyssal Walkers. These creatures have a decent strength and defence level, but low accuracy. Your dragonhide armor should provide fair protection against their attacks.
With your current equipment, you have 4 ways to proceed into the inner ring:
1. The Rock – Find a path blocked by rocks that look like giant teeth. Use your pickaxe to mine through the rocks and enter the inner rim of the Abyss. It also gives 25 experience in Mining.
2. The Eyes – Find a pair of eyes in the ground watching over another one of the passages. Use your Thieving skills to distract them, and run by when they’re not looking. It also gives 25 experience in Thieving.
3. The Passage – Locate an un-guarded and un-blocked passage, and simply enter through. There is only one of them in the entire Abyss, so you will not frequently bump into those.
4. The Gap – This is a rather tight entry to the inner rim, so you will have to use Agility. It also gives 25 experience in Agility.
5. The Tendrils – Find a path blocked by vine-like Tendrils. Use your Woodcutting axe to chop them down and get to the inner ring of the Abyss. It also gives 25 experience in Woodcutting.
6. The Boil – When you find an entrance blocked by a giant mound, you will be at the right place. This is the boil. Use your tinderbox to burn down the boil and enter the inner rim of the Abyss. It also gives 25 experience in Firemaking.
Once you have reached the inner rim, head straight for the nature-rift on the west side of the ring.
Note: Using pouches, they will degrade over time, so after you’ve used them for about 20 – 30 trips, it is a good idea to ask the Dark Mage in the center of the abyssal place to fix them for you with a simple transfiguration spell before you enter through the nature rift. You can still use pouches when they are degraded, but they will look a lot darker than normal, and will not carry as much essence as they initially did.
From here, it’s relatively easy to figure out. Enter the nature-rift, bind your rune essence, empty your pouches and bind your essence again. Use your Amulet of Glory to teleport back to Edgeville and repeat the process.
Note: For those who wondered why you brought a ring of dueling, it will save you from having to run if you forget to bring a charged Amulet of Glory. This happens frequently. Alternatively, you can use your free home teleport and use the bank in Lumbridge.
abyss mini-quest
The Abyss is a domain where portals to all runecrafting altars can be found. To be able to enter the Abyss, you need to complete a miniquest for the Mage of Zamorak, found just north of Edgeville. The Abyss is a very easy way to gain fast runecrafting experience using the higher level runes, but it is also dangerous what with all the PKers hanging out-front. So if you wish to face that danger for faster runecrafting experience, keep reading.
——————————————————————————–
2.0 – Requirements
Completion of the Rune Mysteries quest.
Skill Recommendations
Level 51 Magic (Ardougne Teleport).
Item Recommendations
Teleport runes for Varrock, and Ardougne.
Amulet of Glory.
——————————————————————————–
3.0 – Accessing the Abyss
1) Begin by heading north of Edgeville, following the river until you reach the Mage of Zamorak. As this area is a single combat zone, simply walk up to the Mage of Zamorak fighting skeletons the entire way so none of the PKers there can attack you. Talk to the Mage and he will tell you it is too dangerous to talk in the Wilderness and to meet him at the Chaos Temple in Varrock.
Strategy: Walk east across the bridge, then make your way into the Wilderness and head back west across the tops of the hills to have a clear view of any pkers.
2) Make your way to the south of Varrock’s eastern bank, and speak to the Mage of Zamorak in the Chaos Temple. Ask him where he gets his runes from, and he will tell you about the Abyss.
3) He will ask you if you could help him and you should answer yes. After answering, the Zamorakian Mage will give you a Scrying Orb. He will tell you then that you need to teleport to three different rune essence mines whilst carrying the Orb.
4) Now the three easiest rune essence teleports are located in Varrock, the Wizard Tower south of Draynor Village and in Ardougne. If you wish though, you can also teleport to it by talking to Brimstail in his cave in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, or through the Magic Guild.
Strategy: Teleport to the rune essence from the rune shop in Varrock first, then teleport to Draynor with an amulet of glory and run to the Wizard Tower, finally teleport to Ardougne and enter the rune essence mine there.
Varrock Wizard Tower Ardougne
6) Teleport back to Varrock and return to the Chaos Temple and speak with the Mage of Zamorak. He will reward you for your efforts with 1000 runecrafting experience and the ability to use the abyss. Finish the conversation and talk to the Mage of Zamorak again to get actual access to the Abyss.
7) Teleport to Edgeville by using your amulet of glory and return to the Mage in the Wilderness again. Right click on him and use the Teleport Abyss option to enter the Abyss.

The dragon halberd is the elite of the halberd. The halberd appears as a guarding weapon, and is very powerful, however not necessarily used for killing, rather impaling. Jagex has created the ambiance of the old times in these weapons.
Halberds are flag-like in appearance, and are very powerful. All halberds are members only. Members can equip the bronze-rune halberds before completing the Regicide quest.
None of the halberds can be smithed, and you must have the regular, bronze-dragon, attack levels to wield them. Halberds can attack from two to three spaces away, and are very effective for training on monsters that are too big to fit around pillars, such as black demons, greater demons, fire giants, black dragons, etc.
——————————————————————————–
The Dragon halberd
Type of Weapon: long range melee
Can attack through fences, over benches, tables, chairs, cages.
Requirements: Must have completed the Regicide quest, 60+ Attack.

The dragon halberd hits on average every 4.5 seconds.
To wield this powerful weapon, you must have completed the Regicide quest.
With its special attack, it can attack a monster twice in a turn, with great force.
However, it will only hit twice if the monster takes up more than one game-square.
It also will attack more then one monsters or players if you use the special

Like many online role playing games, Runescape celebrates real-world holidays in their fictional, magical world of monsters, magic, and heroes. Halloween is no exception. During the Halloween holiday season, players have a few unique quests and events you can participate in. But you have to hurry—once the ghouls and goblins have completed their trick or treating on Halloween, the quests and many of their rewards are gone for another year.
Maggie the Witch
Maggie the traveling witch starts the main Halloween quests, Swept Away and trick or treating. Maggie is located north of Rimmington, and players will find her with her two oxen, Norman and Babe. However, her oxen are sick, and Maggie has to stay with them to nurse them back to health. This means she can’t complete either her magical potion or go trick or treating! Runescape members, however, can help her complete both tasks and in the process gain some very nice rewards.
The Swept Away Quest
The Swept Away quest involves helping Maggie complete her magic potion by visiting three of her friend and getting her magic broom enchanted. This isn’t as simple as simply visiting the three, of course. Instead, players must solve a puzzle for each witch before she will enchant the broom. The three witches are Hetty of Rimmington, Betty of Port Sarim, and Aggie of Draynor.
The first step is to visit Hetty in Rimmington. Hetty’s enchantment involves rubbing her special ointment on the broom, but Hetty is out of ointment and can’t make more without some newt. She has some in her basement, which she asked the player to get. Down in the basement, players encounter Gus the Ghoul. He was delivering Hetty’s new supplies, but he got the labels all mixed up. One box contains only newts, one contains only toads, and one contains both. Players must figure out which is which so that Hetty can make the ointment.
All three boxes are mislabeled—players must change the label on each one. Fortunately, Gus will be able to tell players if they’ve made a mistake, and since there are only three options, even just guessing will work eventually. Once the boxes are correctly labeled, players receive the broom ointment from Hetty.
Betty, the witch of Port Sarim, sends players to her basement to meet Lottie. Lottie is trying to get Betty’s magic wand, but it’s locked in a treasure chest that’s guarded by a number of creatures. Before the player can get to the chest, they have to put the creatures in the correct cage. There are six animals to rearrange, and Lottie provides players with a slate that shows where each animal is, making it somewhat easier. One thing to remember, though, is that animals can only be moved to an adjacent cage, and a cage can only hold one animal at a time. Once all of the animals are in the correct cage, the player received Betty’s wand, which she then uses to enchant the broom.
The final witch is Aggie of Draynor. She can only enchant the broomstick in her magical place, but that place is currently covered in sand. The player must sweep the sand away from the magical lines so that they form four different triangles. There are several ways of accomplishing this, and trial and error work just as well as any other method. Once the triangles are revealed, players receive the final enchantment and can return to Maggie.
Maggie can then finish up her Goulash. Once it’s done, she offers some to the player, who receives experience towards a skill. Players can eat the Goulash ten times.
Trick or Treat
Maggie also wants players to bring her some candy from the various trick or treat buckets located at specific locations. Completing this quest three times rewards players with the entire Witch outfit (for female characters) or Warlock outfit (for males). (Runescape Halloween Events and holiday items are located here)
There are three places to trick or treat, and they conveniently match up to the towns the three witches live in: Rimmington, Port Sarim, and Draynor. This makes doing Swept Away and Trick or Treat very easy. Each of these towns also features some really neat Halloween decorations, so they’re worth visiting during the event. Players will need six popcorn balls, five pieces of wrapped candy, and four chocolate drops to get all three pieces of the Halloween outfit. Some of the candy drops more frequently than others—players often get chocolate from trick or treating, but wrapped candy seems somewhat rare.

Getting a valuable item in Runescape is not hard at all. There are many ways to do this, and I will name some now.
1. If you are a high level, why not start by killing greater or lesser demons? They can drop rune items, not to mention quest scrolls. Getting a level three quest scroll is like hitting a jackpot. Even if you are a FTP member (free to play), you could still get the rune items these beasts drop. It is a brilliant idea to grab a friend or two, go out to the back of the free to play wilderness and kill a couple greeters. You can get really excellent items from them while having fun in the process.
2. This next one is one of my favorite item-getting methods and I created it. Though I’m sure, many have thought of this, I have never really encountered anyone who uses this method. It is two simple words, Item Trading. Yes, that’s right, Item Trading. So, I’m sure you understand already what it is just from the name, so I will explain how it works. Say you have, oh… an iron plate body and a Steel med helm. You trade this for some black plate legs. Then you take these plate legs, and trade them for a mithril full helm and some coins. You take these and trade for a mithril plate body. Tada, you just turned an Iron plate body into a mithril plate body! Now, this was just an example but this method does work. It takes time and patience to get what you want, and it might not work perfectly. You may have to trade down every now and then, and sometimes you will trade for something no one wants. You have to learn the market and learn what to get and what is not popular. If you trade for unpopular items you may find out you will stuck with it.
If you do not think that this works, then try it! What have you got to lose? I have used this method many times in the past and not to brag, but I have done quite well. How good you ask? How about giving away a dragon item to a guy for his birthday? I owe it all to merchanting.
3. Working hard. Yes, I’m going to mention this because it is a true technique that works for sure. Work hard! Go out and fish loads of lobsters or cut down many yews! Make the money to buy your Runescape (runescape-blog.com) valuable items.
4. Staking. If you are daring, rich, and a tad crazy, this one is for you. Take some of your coins and go to the duel arena. Stake someone your coins and let them stake some really valuable item. If you win, you get the item. It’s that simple. Yes, this method is very risky and you could end up loosing more than you win, so this again is better for those high levels.
Now that you have seen some examples of how to get an easy valuable item in Runescape, you can go out and try them, or even make your own! Who knows, you might think up a technique that is super fast and easy. (Note: This does not include scamming. Scamming has already been thought of, so you cannot use it.)

The Rune Scimitar is considered one of the best weapons in the Free to Play worlds. It is also one of the most common. It has great power and speed, and it is at a cheap price. You can get a Rune Scimitar for around 15,000 gold. It has dropped greatly since the release of the Great Exchange, it use to be around 30,000 gold. Players also can get a Rune Scimitar by killing Cockroach Soldiers in the Stronghold of Player Safety. They are semi-rare to obtain, but remember; these are level 83 and are very difficult to kill for mid-low level players. This urged players who could kill these monsters to sell their Rune Scimitars, which then caused the price to go lower and lower. If it keeps dropping, they will be worthless soon.
If you have a smithing skill of 90, you can make your own Rune Scimitar for 2 rune bars. Rune Scimitars give 150-smithing experience. Rune Scimitars give a +45-slash bonus for attack and a +1-defense bonus for slash, so if you are going to use the Rune Scimitar for battle, slashing is the way to go. You will also get a +44-strength bonus. The Rune Scimitar goes by a couple different names; Rune scimmy and R scimmy are the most common. Low Alchemy and Store Price is 10240 gold, High Alchemy is 15360. There is about a 5,000 gold difference, so if you can use High Alchemy, it is worth it. The Grand Exchange has the lowest price set to 15,080 and the highest at 16,093. These prices go up and down frequently and it could change tomorrow.
You will need 40 attack to be able to wield the Rune Scimitar. If you do not have 40 attack, I suggest going and fighting the Goblins at the Goblin Diplomacy quest. They are located North-West of Falador. They provide good experience points and they are fast to kill. This will allow you to get to level 40 attack very quickly. It is always better to kill monsters with lower experience points but faster deaths than ones with slower deaths and more experience points. Goblins are excellent because they do not have very high hits, and thus you can kill more without having to eat. If you are a high level, you may never have to eat. If you think goblins are too slow for experience points, try the Stronghold of Security or the Stronghold of Player Safety, they are my favorite places to train.
The Rune Scimitar can be a great weapon. I have heard of people hitting 28s with it. It depends a lot on the skills of the holder. The Rune Scimitar is my personal Free to Play favorite. It is cheap and it can really pack a punch. A lot better than those Wind Blasts which can cost a fortune in Death Runes. If you get a Rune Scimitar and combined it with the healing power of Tuna, you can kill an army of Greater Demons easily.
Therefore, whether you call it the Rune Scimitar, the R scimmy, Rune Scimmy, or even the slashing scimmy of runeness, it is still a great weapon. Runescape battle axe or scimitar. Haha, Happy Playing.

Treasure Trail Armors
Hove you ever wondered how to get a piece of fancy-looking armor with trimming on it, or how much these armors may cost? These treasures are said to be rare, since there’s only a possibility of obtaining a piece after completing a Members-Only Treasure Trail.
——————————————————————————–
Some Basic Info
All of the special armors, known as “Trimmed Armor” are rewards from a finished RuneScape Treasure Trail. Different enemies sometimes drop Clue Scrolls, which when read will point you to another location or character in the game. Depending on the difficulty of the enemy you receive the clue from, the Treasure Trail may be more difficult, but the reward will be greater.
Remember, monsters will not always drop clues, so it may take quite a long time to find one. But, it’s always a great surprise to find a Clue Scroll after defeating lots of enemies, and then to find a great reward can be even better!
——————————————————————————–
All About the Armors
Now that you know that Trimmed Armors are the rare rewards from Treasure Trails, you probably want to know a little more about them. There are 3 different types of Trimmed Armor, each one made out of one type of metal, with a special trimming around it:
(T) – This means that the armor is trimmed or Tinted in a lighter shade of metal than the main armor.
(G) – This is also known as gold or Gilded armor, meaning that the main piece of armor is trimmed in gold.
(Gu), (S), (Z) – These are the different god or Divine armors, including Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak.
Only 3 different types of armor are trimmed, which are Black, Adamantite, and Rune. Each of these metals can have either regular Trimming, or Gold Trimming, but only Rune can be a Divine type of armor. There also is no difference in the armor stats compared to the regular un-trimmed armors, and they give no added bonuses.
Treasure Trail armors can be worn by both Members and Free-Players, but it can only be found by Members that have completed a Treasure Trail. This means that the only way a Free-Player can obtain them would be to trade with a Member on a Free-Play server.
Trimmed Armor
The most basic and inexpensive kind of Treasure Trail armor is Tinted or Trimmed armor. The armor itself has been trimmed in a lighter shade of metal, such as Adamantite with a lighter green trimming. Goblins, Guars and Ice Warriors will drop clues that sometimes lead you to regular Trimmed armor, but there are many others.
Can I really Hack Runescape Items? If there was a way, everyone would be rich and I’m sorry to say that I do not believe there to be a way to Hack Runescape Items, unless you are playing on a private server of course, but that’s another matter. Don’t let the lights dim for you there though; there could well be a Hack for Runescape Items on the internet just seconds away from download.
