You can break Summoning 2 into two halves. The first is a rebalancing of the skill using your feedback. We have chosen to do this because we wanted Summoning to be one of the most well-loved and appreciated skills, so your help was needed to get it back on track.
What did we find out from the Forums? You told us that familiars did not stick around for long enough before they disappeared, and that renewing them was often a pain. With this update, each familiar stays out for a set period of time, regardless of the summoner’s skill level, so there is no need to renew your familiar. The period that each familiar stays summoned has, in general, been increased – the spirit dagannoth, for example, stays out for a whopping 57 minutes!
Secondly, you told us that summoning familiars just wasn’t rewarding enough. With the rebalancing, we have given each familiar a stand-out ability that makes them well worth summoning – a feature that budding Pikkupstixes have been eager for. You will now find that Summoning a creature is far more preferable to either selling the pouch or high-alching it.
Many of you felt that combat familiars should give combat XP. We definitely agree, so each combat familiar now gives XP when they cause damage. The amount is equal to how much you would have received, had you done the damage yourself. The experience will be in one of the combat skills, which depends on your choice of familiar – the spirit jelly, for example, gives XP in the Strength stat.
Taking your combat familiar into battle will reveal our next improvement: each creature is significantly tougher. They can soak up damage like never before and many will hit harder, making them more than useful for challenges like the God Wars. We can only encourage you to try them out and see just how improved their combat abilities are.
Acquiring charms has been made easier this week, with charm drops added to nearly 20 of our Slayer creatures. For those who prefer sleight of hand over the crossing of swords, we have also added charms to the Dorgesh-Kaan chests, so thieves can access them, too.
Recharging Summoning points has been made easier, with miniature obelisks scattered across the world to keep you topped up; you can now summon familiars almost anywhere and take them with you without worrying too much about having to dismiss them; buttons have been added to help you ‘dump’ items from your familiar to your inventory and your familiar to your bank; headgear and headdresses can hold more scrolls per item; many existing helmets can be enchanted to hold scrolls; and some of the familiars’ inventories have been expanded to a jaw-dropping 30 slots, so your pak yak can now hold more than you can
Well essentially runescape cheats are just programs that can perform tasks for you without you having to do anything. They can be downloaded for free from Rs2Cheating Programs and CheatScape.Org. They’re the only clean sites on the internet, and the rest come with malicious viruses such as keyloggers. The only way to get around this, is to scan any file you download thoroughly with more than 2 anti-virus scanners.
RuneScape AutoMagic Trainer cheating macro is designed for RuneScape, you can easily level up to level 60 magic in less than one day. THIS PROGRAM DOES EVERYTHING FOR YOU. It trains your account while you are eating, at school, or sleeping!Auto Crumbles of Undead Caster, Auto Varrock, Lumbridge, Falador, Camelot Teleporter, and Auto High & Low alcher.
Smithing Steel Platebodies is the only good way to level up for a non-member. If you have 1000 Coals (since you need Coal for all the items above Steel), with 1000 Coals, while making Steel Platebodies, you receive (1000/ 2) 0* 55 = 27500 experience points. If you are making Mithril Platebodies, you will only receive (1000/4) * 80 = 20000 experience points. Same thing goes for Adamant and for Rune. You are 31 Smithing and you need 48 Smithing, here is what you should do: smelt and smith 1235 Steel bars. Buy the ores if you can afford them or just mine them. Now that you are 48 Smithing, you can start smithing Steel Platebodies. If you are using this method, do not buy the ores if you want to make some RuneScape money. Mine them in Dwarven mines or in the Mining Guild if you have 60 Mining. High-alchemize all the Steel Platebodies you smith. You will receive 1200 coins per Platebody.
If you want to get 99 Smithing with this way (the only good one if you are a non-member), you will need to smelt and smith 235,481 Steel bars. You will make 47,097 Steel Platebodies and when High-alchemizing them, you will get 56,516,400 coins. Remember to mine all the ores you need if you want to make money. The only items you need to buy as a non-member are Nature runes. You can also collect them by killing some monsters that drop a fair amount of these runes like Hill giants, Moss giants, Wizards, Dark wizards, Ice warriors, and many others.
For non-members, if you want to get 99 Smithing with this way, you will need to smelt and smith 235,481 Steel bars. You will make 47,097 Steel Platebodies and when High-alchemizing them, you will get 56,516,400 coins. Remember to mine all the ores you need if you want to make RS money. Nature runes are the only items you need to buy. You can also collect them by killing some monsters that drop a fair amount of these runes like Hill giants, Moss giants, Wizards, Dark wizards, Ice warriors, and many others.
Enjoy your Runescape gold making as Non-members!

Dying in Runescape
The online multiplayer game – Runescape – offers the avid gamers a fantasy world full of monsters, quests and a number of minigames where you can emerge a winner and become rich earning gold pieces (the currency at Runescape).
How do you die in the game of Runescape?
In the game of Runescape, you may sometimes end up dying at the hands of some monster or even some other player (player killing). There are fierce monsters who can take you by surprise and also you may not have the skill level to defend yourself and may get killed. There are also players who look forward to killing other players and any opportunity they get in the Wild to kill another player who is less powerful they make use of the chance. Thus, you may even end up getting killed at the hands of a fellow player. Do not take advice from any player to follow him or her, because they may mislead you, take you into the wild and kill you.
What precautions must you take in Runescape?
You should always be alert in the game of Runescape and make sure you know the area well .Take some food along with you when you go to a new area in Runescape. Try to save your energy by not running when it is not required. Do not carry too much gold and valuables with you.
What happens when you die in Runescape?
Any player in Runescape can get killed by some monster that is superior to you or you can get killed even by other players in the Wild. You may be taken by surprise sometimes in the wild and may get killed by other more powerful players.
When you die in the game of Runescape, what actually happens is all the wealth that you had made, all the money that you made is all lost.
How are banks helpful in Runescape?
In Runescape when a player dies he looses all his possession. After having played the game of Runescape for so long and accumulated so much wealth it would be a total loss if you get killed and loose all that you have. Banks are the best way to save your possessions. You must deposit your possessions on a regular basis with the banks so that you don’t loose all you have when you get killed.
Runescape is a wonderful game where you need to think in advance and be smart and take the right decisions. It’s not all about power but a game of intellect too.

Pking, or player killing, is one of the most favorite pastimes in Runescape history. The deeper you go the harder it is to survive. Jagex, they creators of Runescape, created new items and armor to ensure the combat triangle to stay alive. Unfortunately, they did not count on people making hybrids to combat and destroy the combat triangle. Here is the most recent guide to defeating all and save money in the wild.
Ranger pures: Ranger pures enjoy their speed and mild damage in any battle. Also they have d-hide armor that protects them from mages in combat. Standard inventory for rangers include 24 food varieties and 3 teleport runes. They should have an empty space to pick up fallen arrows. Their armor should be d-hide chaps and vambraces. Their weapon of choice is definitely the bow. Arrows depend on the type of bow their using.
Ranger def: Ranger def are very good against def warriors and pures. They don’t do much damage considering how much a normal ranger should but they make up for that by using rune chains. Standard armor for def rangers should include either full d-hide or rune chain in place of d-hide for those who have not completed dragon slayer. They should wear rune full helm and amulet of accuracy. Their bow and arrow should depend on their range level though I recommend not becoming a ranger def until level 60 range.
Ranger mage: These rangers have the ability to take down warriors really well. They use range to annoy the enemy and take their health down to around 16 then mage them for an automatic hit. Defeating ranger mages take pures or def rangers because their d-hide can block them. Standard and recommended armor includes death runes, air staff to trick opponent into taking off armor, power amulet, and d-hide chaps. Bow and arrow once again depend on the pkers level in range.
Ranger warrior: These are probably the most effective fighters on a non-member world. Their range is used to maintain a good speed and the 2-hand combo works well with ranger warriors. It is recommended to have 70+ strength and 60+ ranges before attempting this for the best performance. The bow should always be a short bow for maximum speed. Standard equipment is rune 2-hands, full d-hide, power amulet, bow and arrow, and rune full helm.
Warrior def: These warriors are very pesky to other pkers because of their defense. Fortunately for mages, they don’t hit high and def does not matter to mages because they usually hit them anyways. Standard armor includes full rune and rune chain in place of rune plate body in case they did not do dragon slayer quest. Rune scimitars are the most common weapons for them but long swords have better chances of hitting the opponent. Some def noobs bring rune 2-hands to do the combo. Amulet of strength, defense, or power is recommended. I recommend adamant armor because its very cheap compared to rune and still does a lot of def. Mages also can’t very well against adamant compared to rune even though they still hit them. It is recommended to also bring range armor like leather body so they can get defense against mage.
Warrior pures: this is considered the most effective and cheap pker at level 40-60. They can do immense damage to any type of pker except for def rangers and warriors. Also they should have 25 pray or more to keep their weapon in case of death. If you see a warrior pure, you really should not challenge him or her because they will waste your food and even if you were to win, they would keep their weapon. Recommended armor include mage robes, priest gowns, shade robes, or monk robes. They should also carry an iron kite as a shield for some def. You never really know when some def will come in handy.
Warrior mages: Warrior mages are very ineffective because their armor takes off mage attacks. NEVER BE A WARRIOR MAGE! IT IS A WASTE OF TIME, RUNES, AND ARMOR. YOU WILL LOSE ANY FIGHT AS A WARRIOR MAGE! BE WARNED.
Mages def: These guys will lose most fights because def waste their leveling and makes them vulnerable to stronger fighters. Never be one of these guys either.
Mages pure: These guys work well as a non-member until the level of 35. After a while, pures can defeat them. They can still defeat Def noobs until level 60+ Mages do work well in clans because they can bind. Mages are considered the most expensive and every 100-death rune used or 200 chaos runes used must be used with extreme caution. You don’t want to waste money.
Thank you and good luck in the wilderness.

The game of Runescape, an online multiplayer game has a feature called “player killing” or Pking which is very interesting.
What is Pking at Runescape?
Pking or Player Killing is a feature at Runescape where one player can actually kill the other player in the wilderness area. This is practiced by many players and so it is just not advisable to believe another player in the game of Runescape. Beware of players who ask you to follow them, they might just take you into the wilderness and kill you. Many players like to indulge in player killing and find it more satisfying than killing the monsters because here they are actually killing a live human who can think of his own.
Some points on the Wilderness at Runescape
In Runescape, the stronger you are the more difficult it is to kill you and therefore, it is in your best interest to get stronger and more powerful here at Runescape. The wilderness is also divided into levels so the players in your own range would only be there in the wilderness. However, the deeper you go into the wilderness the more are the dangers so you must think twice before you enter the wilderness and once you have done so you must be very cautious and alert.
Runescape Fighters
Runescape fighters can be divided broadly into three categories: the warriors, mages and the rangers. Each class of fighters has their own advantages and shortcomings. The warriors are a little slow as compared to the mages because they have heavy armours whereas the mages wear light robes. Mages can thus, run faster and for a longer distance. On the other hand mages do not stand to gain in comparison to rangers as rangers wear dragon hides that are light and offer them a lot of protection, and thus, the rangers can outrun the mages. Thus, rangers are at an advantage when compared to mages. When warriors come in contact with rangers the rangers armour being light does not offer them much protection against warriors and also the rangers weapons are not able to cause much damage to the heavy armour of warriors. This goes to show that before you actually decide to indulge in the activity of player killing you must be sure as to who your opponent is.
Runescape Player Killing groups
The trend of player killing or Pking in groups is also observed in Runescape. Many players come together to take on Pking. This offers them the advantage of numbers and they can take on any opponent due to their large numbers. The wilderness has a lot of danger hiding and could take you by surprise. You could even get killed here in the mysterious wild so its best to go there in big numbers. With a large number of players working together you have the advantage of having different types of fighters in your team and also more kinds of weapons and thus, overall the strength and power to take on any enemy and fight and emerge a winner.

Runescape pking is an artform, if you’re going to master it you should definately read this guide. It’s got everything you need to know about pking.
Player Killing – Introduction As well as fighting the computer controlled monsters and characters you can also choose to directly fight with other players. Fighting against other players is often a lot more dangerous because they have a much greater variety of ways to fight than monsters. Also in multiway combat areas watch out because their friends could be lurking behind a tree ready to finish you off! Killing other players can potentially give great rewards if they are holding valuable items.
However attacking another player sets your alignment to ‘evil’, and a skull appears above your head to indicate this. As longer as your player is marked with a skull the risk is greater. If you die you will drop everything you are holding (you won’t get to keep your 3 best items like you normally do!). If you play for 20 minutes without attacking anyone, the skull will disappear and the 3 item protection will work again. Not everybody likes fighting other players, so to do it you have to go to a special area of the map known as ‘the wilderness’.
Reaching the wilderness is easy, just keep on walking north and eventually you will get there. The wilderness is a desolate area full of death and danger. As well as the extra risk of attack from other players there are also many nasty monsters. However the rewards are also greater, and there is more treasure to be found if you dare to enter this area. When you enter the wilderness an icon at the bottom right of the screen will appear to remind you. This also indicates how far into the wilderness you have gone. The further north you go the more dangerous the wilderness becomes.
At the south edge of the wilderness you can only fight with players who are a very similar level to yourself, whereas as you go north the range allowed increases, and by the north edge players of vastly different abilities can engage in combat and the danger is great! A further note to those with the power of teleportation – the evil auras that have built up in the wilderness are blocking teleportation to wilderness levels above 20, on the other hand the power of the glory amulet will allow you to teleport at a level 30 or below.
Fighting Classes:
Mage -VS- Warrior
(Warrior): The mage will likely attempt to “hold” the warrior as quickly as possible, retreat to a safe distance and unleash with some spells. Since all of the big armour (plate and chain) carries negative bonuses to magical defence, your best plan is to take off all your armour or change to more appropriate attire, such as Dragonhide or studded leather. Quick thrown weapons are a good way to distract your opponent, and to poison him / her. This may give the warrior a few seconds to get in close and hit the mage with his primary weapon. The mage is not likely to be wearing any armour, so don’t worry about which attack style you are using.
(Mage): The warrior is dangerous at close range and useless at any distance – the simple tactics are to hold the warrior using one of the bind spells and start firing in damaging spells, or weaken or confuse your opponent from distance. If the player gets in close defend yourself using your staff and wait for another opportunity to hold them. If you’re a particularly high level mage, you may be able to wear some armour while fending off the warriors advances and continue hitting him with your spells. Do remember that the armour will reduce your ability to cast magic.
Range -VS- Warrior
(Warrior): You have excellent defence vs rangers if you’re wearing your standard plate set, so you have little to worry about. Make sure you have a few cure poison potions to stop the blighter from sticking you with a poisoned arrow and wade into him with your primary weapon. If he is using Dragonhide or leather armour, your best bet is to hack him down with stabbing or slashing weapons.
(Ranger): This is your toughest fight. A warrior has excellent defence vs your projectile attacks, and your armour is unlikely to stand up to the battering from a well placed blade. One available option is to run and get some distance between you and your target – hopefully put a forest between you so you can rain arrows down while he / she is picking her way through the forest. If the warrior gets close your in trouble. You could put on some chainmail instead as this offers better protection from the warrior, but offers no bonus to your ranged attack. Try to lead the warrior to a busier area; with any luck the warrior will get distracted and you can retreat to distance. Poisoning your projectiles is always useful as this can often distract the warrior for a few vital seconds.
Mage -VS- Range
(Range): Your leather armours give you the best defence vs spells, so you won’t be getting hit that often by his magic. Fortunately for you, Robes offer no protection against your projectiles so stand back and turn him into a pin-cushion. At close ranges use throwing weapons and your shortbows, as they are quick and effective. If the Mage tries to run you can pull out your longbow, with a much greater range than any other weapon he will have trouble getting out of your reach. Always use poisoned weapons if you can, as the extra damage really adds up.
(Mage): Rangers will give you the most trouble, as your hold spells won’t affect their ability to attack you. In addition, they often have a very good defence vs magic due to their leather armour, particularly if they are wearing Dragonhide. Leather is also fairly strong against Crush attacks, so your staff won’t be too much use up close either. Your best bet is to just blast away with your best damage spells and hope they hit; forget using your other spells as they won’t help. You’ll probably need some cure poison potions, as arrows/daggers/darts/and javelins can all be poisoned. If all else fails, you can always run to the lower wilderness and teleport out.
Team Guide
Team guide is actually a guide for what players should be in your team. Remember to have friends that you have known for quite a while and no more than 2 that you have barely found. If you have more of the ones that you have barely become friends with than if you had more that you have known, chances are that you are dead. Remember to have people 3 more or less levels than you. If you don’t, then it will be hard to pk. The more people you have, the stronger your team becomes. Here is a list of what people you should have:
3 Warriors
2 Mages
3 Rangers
Or
2 Warriors
4 Mages
2 Rangers
If your team is too big, it will show up on the map and drive players away. It is a good idea to be separate from your team. If you have 8 then 4 should be on the left and 4 should be on the right. Also, you should have a ‘Bait’ character. Baits are important for a Bronze & Brain team. To have a bait char he should have: A skull above they’re heads, Adamant Armour and up*, Dragon armours*, Adamant Weapons and up*, having no armour on, and a low level at a high leveled wilderness area. * Means that if they have a skull above their head that the other Pker would be tempted to attack him. Also, luring tips are: Saying that you have food, saying that “Don’t attack me, I have to give my friend 100k for 2 r2h’s” and sorts like that. So, think like the Pker, ask yourself “Why would a Pker want? What would I do to get it?” things like that now time to move on to Pker classes.

Prayer Beast:
Monk Robes T&B
Holy or Unholy blessed Symbol
Gloves & boots
Food/Prayer potions
Weapon Of Choice
Magic Spells are optional
Custom Player Killer
To make a good Pker you need to know the basics, proper combinations. Example, you can’t make a warrior hybrid with a mage. It won’t due. Or make a Mage with leather. That won’t work. Remember a couple of things:
Attack Status Changes
Pay attention to your attack bonuses. If you want to have accurate ranging, don’t use things with negative ranged effects like metal armours use leather. If you want an effective Knight killer, use weapons with strong crush bonuses like war hammers or two-handed swords.
Defense Status Changes
Study all of the Pker templates, use the equipment, and see what are there strengths and weaknesses and use it against them!
What is my strongest Choice?
It all depends on you level patterns. If your magic level is 45 then you might want to stick with magic not ranging. Remember, study all the Pkers and see what best fits you
Player Killing Tips
When Pking always have these in mind:
Only trust your closest friends
Bring at least 1 or more people with you.
The default for a good team is 1 ranger and 1 mage
Always have telegrab spells ready, you never know!
Don’t eat during a fight. Chances are that while you’re eating all the food will be wasted! Eat during running so the pker will have a hard time catching you, and if your smart, run south.
Make sure to mix your teams up with mages, rangers, and warriors to balance the triangle.
Make sure your team won’t Pk you!
Have your teleport spells ready so you wont have to run all the way back or if your really in trouble, teleport.
Remember teleport spell restrictions are if your lower than level 20 wilderness, you can teleport any higher you’re on thin ice.
If you can’t teleport run for at least 10 seconds while clicking on logout.
If someone is running, use ranged and magic. No matter what your
level to ensure that they won’t logout.
If you’re a mage or wizard, remember to use ensnare magic.
Make a bait player, for example: Make Stupid1 run into the wilderness where there is most likely to be a Pker. When he attacks him he will have a skull making you have more spoils!

1. Intro
Player Killing also called ‘Pking’ is fighting in the wilderness against other players to win their armour and stuff they wear. Pking is a very good way to earn much money but you can also lose all your stuff in the wilderness.
——————————————————————————–
2. The wilderness
The wilderness is an area in the north of runescape. In this area are different kinds of wilderness levels. These levels decide which other level players you can attack.
For example: A level 77 player in wilderness level 1 can attack a level 76,77 or 78 player but if he goes into level 2 wilderness he can be attacked by players with level 75,76,77,78,79 and so on. The higher you get into the wilderness, the more players can attack you.
To check in which wilderness level you are just look at this sign that will appear on the right side.
This sign looks like this:
——————————————————————————–
3. Combat zones
There are two different combat zones, a non multi combat zone and a multi combat zone. In the non multi combat zone you can only fight 1 versus 1. And in the multi combat zone you can fight whole battles with many people at the same time. If you want to know in which combat zone you are just look in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The crossed swords mean that you are in a multi combat zone and if there are no crossed swords that means that you are in a non multi combat zone.
A multi combat zone looks like this:
A non multic combat zone looks like this:
——————————————————————————–
4. Skulled and Non Skulled
If you attack one or more people in the wilderness you will get a skull above your head, this means that if you die, you will lose all your items. However you won’t get a skull above your head if you attack someone who already attacked you a first. This doesn’t mean that if someone attacked you a week ago, you can now attack him and won’t get a skull for attacking him, it’s only for a short period of time. Under here you can see a skulled and a non skulled person.
——————————————————————————–
5. Teleporting
Teleporting is used by many Pkers and really is the best way to escape from death. However you have to be at least magic level 25 and must have the runes for teleporting. Also, if you go deeper then level 20 wilderness you can’t use any teleportation spells. So be careful and don’t let someone lure you deeper then level 20 wilderness if you don’t want to. Under here are all the F2P teleportation spells surrounded by a red circle.
——————————————————————————–
6. Good f2p Pk spots
In the whole wilderness can be killed people, but however that won’t say you will always find someone to kill. That’s why there are a few good Pk spots where many people will come. Under here are the spots named, in which wilderness level they are, if it’s a multi or non multi combat zone and where they can be found.
- (Hill) Giants.
Giants is one of the most popular Pk spot in the F2P world. Giants is in a Multi combat Zone so be careful many people can attack you there. Giants is in level 16 and 17 wilderness and can be found North-east of Varrock. See the map under here.
- Varrock wilderness level 1
This is the most Popular Pk spot in the F2P world. It’s in a Multi combat zone so be careful. The name already says it, Varrock wilderness level 1 is in level 1 wilderness but at lvl 2 and 3 are also many people. This spot can be easily found North of Varrock. See the map under here.
- Greater demons (GDS).
This is a really dangerous but also fun place for Pking in the F2P world, it’s in a Multi combat zone at level 45 and 46 wilderness so be very careful you cant teleport there! The Greater demons can be found North from Varrock at lvl 45 and 46 wilderness. See the map under here.
- (Dark Knight) Castle.
The Dark warriors Castle is very popular for people who want to fight only 1 versus 1. The darkwarriors castle is at level 13,14,15 and 16 wilderness. The castle is in a multi combat zone but the area around the castle is in a non multi combat zone. The Dark warriors castle can be found North-west of Edgeville. See the map under here.
- Rune Rocks (rr)
This is the only rune mines spot in the whole F2P world. This is a very popular Pk spot because you can kill rune miners here. The Rune Rocks are in wilderness level 44 and 45, and are in a non multi combat zone. The Rune Rocks can be found North of Falador at level 44 and 45 wilderness. See the map under here.
- Moss Giants.
This is a popular training place for many people. The Moss giants are in wilderness level 36 and 37 and are in a non multi combat zone. The Moss Giants can be found North of Edgeville at level 36 and 37 wilderness. See the map under here.
- Bone Yard.
A lot of people train prayer at Bone Yard so that makes it a good place for Pking. Boneyard is in level 28 and 29 wilderness and is in a multi combat zone, and can be found north from Varrock. See the map under here.
Name of spot Which wilderness lvl Multi or non Multi Where can be found
(Hill) Giants 16,17 Multi zone North-east of Varrock
Varrock lvl 1 wildy 1,2,3 Multi zone North of Varrock
Greater demons (gds) 45,46 Multi zone North of Varrock
(dark warriors)Castle 13,14,15,16 Non multi zone North-west of Edgeville
Rune Rocks (RR) 44,45 Non multi zone North of Falador
Moss giants 36,37 Non multi zone North of Edgeville
Boneyard 28,29 Multi zone North of Varrock
——————————————————————————–
7. Pk tactics and extra’s
There are many tactics and extra’s in Pking. Under here I will show some popular tactics and extra’s used in F2P Pking.
- Strength Potion.
A strength potion is a potion that makes your strength level higher for a short time. This is very useful if you want to deal more damage to someone. A strength potion only works for melee attacks and not for ranged or magical attacks. Under here you can see a strength potion.
- Prayer
Prayer is very useful for Pking. There are many different prayers, but they are all good for Pking. Under here you can see the most popular F2P prayers used by Pkers.
Name of Prayer Prayer level required What do they do
Protect items 25 You keep 1 extra item if you die
Steel skin 28 Increases your defence by 15%
Ultimate strenght 31 Increases your strength by 15%
Incredible reflexes 34 Increases your attack by 15%
Protect from magic 37 Protection from magical attacks
Protect from missiles 40 Protection from ranged attacks
Protect from melee 43 Protection from close attacks
Eagle eye 44 Increases your ranging by 15%
Mystic might 45 Increases your magic by 15%
- Death dot (dd)
A death dot is a place where many people stand in. This is very useful because your opponent will see only 1 dot on the mini map and cannot attack all opponents because the menu gets too big. There are two ways to get into a death dot without attacking the persons in the death dot. The first way is by clicking ‘walk here’ on the death dot. And the second way is by using the mini map. Under here you can see the two ways to get into a death dot.
- Death march
Note: You need a large group to do this to get the full effect. At least 20 people.
Spread out your team and walk (or run) to a desired location. This way you can surprise your opponents and make them scared (because it will look like a lot of people)
- Death match (dm)
A death match is a battle when you fight until death. You may not run away or teleport from a death match, you have to fight to death. A good way for fighting a death match is drinking a strength potion and use the Ultimate strength prayer, because this will give you a quite big strength bonus.

Ranger Pure- Range and hp lvl higher than your combat basically focusing only range with all other skills besides hp 1.
Mage Pure- Same as range pure except rasing only magic.
Warrior Pure- 1 defence and higher strength than attack.
Ranger Tank- Ranger with 40 defence so hat he\she can wear green d hide body.
Rune pure- Warrior with 40 defence and full rune stil having higher str than atk.
Hybrid- Has atk str prayer magic and range.
Strengths and weaknesses-
Ranger Pure- Ranger pures are very good in f2p they can easily kill most mages there lvl although against rune pures and some warrior pures ranger pures will fall apart (most of the time)
Mage pure- Weak against ranger because ranger wear d hide which gives a descent magic defence bonus. Mage pures can kill rune pures with ease because there horrible magic defence bonus.
Warrior Pure- Warrior pures are very good also as they can rip through mages robes and d hide that rangers wear.
Range tanks- Better defence and range bonus these guys can withstand most range pures and warriors yet its range wont be as high as most range pures there lvl.
Rune pure- Rune pures are great against rangers for there defence bonus but mages have much more of an advantage because there HORRIBLE magic defence bonus.
Hybrids- These master of destructions have a high advantage because they can change from mage to range to melee yet there skills wont match other pures like there atk and str wont be as high as a warrior pure same as range and mage.
Another weakness is that they use more space in there inventory so they cant bring as much food.
What they should wear for pking
Range Pures- Green d hide vambs, boots, green d hide legs, leather top, coif, maple short bow, cape, 100+ addy arrows, ammy of power
Mage Pure- Blue wizard top and hat, ammy of magic, monk robe bottom, gloves, cape, boots, any elementtal staff, anti fireshield.
Warrior Pure- Green d hide vams and legs, weapon (i recommend scimmy), cape, blue wizard hat and top or iron pl8, ammy of power, anti fire shield.
Range tank- Same things as a regular range pure but use green d hide body.
Rune pure- Same as warrior pure but wears full rune.
Hybrids- Green d hide vambs and legs, boots, blue wiz top and hat, ammy of power, cape, scimmy/staff/or bow, 100+ addy arrows.
What they should have in there inventory during pking-
Range pures- Lobbies or above
Magic pures- Runes for there attack and lobbies+
Warrior Pure- Str pot (4) x2, if your using scimmy bring a 2h in your inventory for when they have 25 health or less and food lobbies+
Range Tank- same as range pure
Rune pure- same as warrior pure
Hybrids- Runes for mage, bow for range, staff, weapon for melee, food lobbies+, str pot (4) x1
You can also bring teleports if youd like and your magic is 25 or above
Strategies during pking-
Range pures- If your facing a rune pure by yourself run or teleport u have little chance of beating him but u can dont get me wrong its not impossible if u have teleports stick around for awhile to see if hes strong and if hes not kill him
Mage Pure- When your facing dual rangers (more than 1) by yourself run!
Warrior Pure- Pot right before combat and charge when the victim has 25 health or less switch to a 2h and kill him quick.
Range Tank- You have a slightly better chance against rune pures but still be cautious.
Rune pure- Taking on rangers isnt to hard for u, taking on warrior pures is slightly harders, if your facing a mage take off your armor during the fight trust me it helps.
Hybrid- This is great if your opponent is praying on u because u can switch through different skills making your opponent have to change there prayer which means they eat less food, when your fighting a mage use range or melee, when your fighting a ranger use melee, when your fighting a warrior use mage.
Places to pk-
Lvl 1-5 wildy above varrock and edgeville. Castle (warning in busy worlds there will be large teams of players waiting for some1 to kill)
P2P PKING PURES
Types of pures-
Ranger Pure- Range and hp lvl higher than your combat basically focusing only range with all other skills besides hp 1.
Mage Pure- Same as range pure except rasing only magic.
Warrior Pure- 1 defence and higher strength than attack.
Ranger Tank- Ranger with 40 defence so hat he\she can wear d hide body.
Rune pure- Warrior with 40 defence and full rune stil having higher str than atk.
Hybrid- Has atk str prayer magic and range.
Mage Tank- same as regular mage pure but u have 20 – 40 defence for your mage armor (not recommended)
Strengths and weaknesses-
Range pure- all i can say is in p2p range is really bad due to jagex changing the number of % that the special bar MSB i dont recommend being a range pure.
Mage Pure- Magic in p2p is very popular because of all the spells and staffs u can use like can use anciets, god staff, or some high level Wave spells.
Warrior pure- Using d scim and dds is mostly what warrior pures use some of the crazy folks use whips (if your going to use whip have your prayer atleast 25) There very good at ripping through range and mage pures with there dds and scimmy can help get rid of there prayer,
Rune pure- Not very good in p2p sense dds can pretty much rip right through armor i dont recommend this for p2p.
Range Tank- Like i said before range isnt very useful in p2p so i wouldnt bother
Hybrid- Because of the items it cant weild it puts this at a disadvantage for not having as many spots for food but these guys have a variety of weapons and tactics they can use and make people switch there prayer on and off
What they should wear for pking-
Range Pures- 100+ rune arrows MSB (magic short bow) the best d hide legs and vambs they can use, coif\robin, boots\ranger boots, leather top, glory ammy, obby cape\regular
Mage Pure- Best d hide legs and vambs they can wear, zammy robe top\blue wiz robetop and blue wiz hat, ammy of glory\magic ammy, obby cape\regular, staff depending on what kind of spells there using (blast, wind, god, or ancients), anti fire shield
Warrior Pure- D scim\dd(p-s)\whip\maul (some people use it to carry the finishing blow), zammy\wiz top and hat, best d hide legs and vambs u can use, climbing boots, obby cape\regular, ammy of glory
Rune Pure- same as warrior pure just wearing full rune
Range Tank- Same as Rane pure just using the best d hide body they can wear and if u want archer helm.
Hydrid- Best d hide legs and and vambs, wiz top/zammy top, Glory ammy, Obby cape/regular, boots/ranger, wiz hat/robin, melee weapon/staff/bow
What they should have in there inventory during pking-
Range Pure- Range pot (4) x 2, food.
Mage Pure- Runes for spell that you have chosen, Mage potion (4) x1, food.
Warrior Pure- DDS\WHIP\D SCIM, super atk and str pot (4) x1 ea, food.
Rune Pure- Same as warrior pure just bring a super defence to.
Range Tank- Same as Range Pure
Hybrid- Super set, maybe range and mage pot, Staff\bow\melee weapon, if u want a prayer pot, food
You can also bring teleports if youd like and your magic is 25 or above
Strategies during pking-
Range Pure- If your facing ancient magicks there a good chance youll die even with your d hide. Try to get alot of friends because 3-4 archers attacking 1 person will add really add up.
Mage Pure- If your using blast, wave. or god staff always cast bind, snare, entangle on your oppenent to stop him from moving although it can fail. If u can teleblock then do it. If your using ancients and are taking alot of damage and afraid your going to die but u still want to say i the fight change your spell to a blood spell to heal yourself a little.
Warrior Pure- If your using dds and d scim only use 1-2 specs in the beggining with dds incase u need to use d scimmies spec to lower prayer. If your going to use whip in wildy get 25 prayer or dont skull with it.
Rune Pure- Same as warrior pure
Range Tank- Same as range pure
Hybrid- MagE Warriors, Range or melee Mages, and melee or range rangers.
Places to pk- Anywhere that green dragons are located, near castle, mage bank, lvl 1-5 wildy above edgeville. Do not go to mage bank on a busy world there are tons of people and clans there.
Tips-
Dont bring anything into the wildy you are not willing to lose because there is a pretty good chance you can die.
Dont trust anyone in the wldy no matter what they say unless you know them in real life.
If your going to pk with friends remember to be in multi zone so that all the members of your group can attack.
If your wearing something that might scare some1 out of fighting u take it off and wait till the battle begins.
Once you kill someone and collect your loot tele or run if people around u can attack because theyll try to kill u hoping to get your items and the persons u killed.
PJing or Pile Jacking (i believe) is when u attack someone after they have finished killing someone of course giving them a few seconds to pick up there winnings and thenyou kill them =\. You could do this although most people hate pjers it may be more rewarding.
Luring- DONT THAT IS CRUEL, TRYING TO TRICK PEOPLE OUT OF THERE HARD EARNED MONEY

Are you the person who likes to have a lot of fun while playing games? Runescape has the answer to this – player killing. Runescape features a special area in the game, where player-to-player combat is allowed – it’s called “The Wilderness”. The Wilderness, to put it in place, is the exciting part of Runescape.
When player killing, there are certain rules that are applied to the wilderness. For example, you are stopped from attacking or being attacked by certain combat level characters dependant on the level of The Wilderness your in. The further you venture into The Wilderness, the more The Wilderness level is, the greater the gap of combat for PKing. If you don’t understand that very well, here is an example.
Zezima is level 54 combat,
Goerg is level 53 combat,
Zezima and Goerg can fight each other in Wilderness Level 1.
Zezima moves to Wilderness Level 2.
They both are no longer able to combat each other as the Wilderness Level is 2. The range between the two characters combat level is 1, and so they are denied combat. If however, Zezima was level 55, or Goerg was level 52, then they would be able to fight in Wilderness Level 2 also. Get it?
There’s also another little trick in successful player-killing. Many people group together in order to kill a single player and/or group. The reason for this is,
a) If multiple people attack one player he can be killed quicker,
b) Certain combat abilities are stronger over others.
Let me explain reason b).
There’s a circle of combat – where different combat types are more effective at combating others. This is how it goes:
Fighter > Ranger
Ranger > Mage
Mage > Fighter
So basically, a fighter has a better chance of killing a ranger.
A ranger has a better chance of killing a mage.
A mage has a better chance of killing a fighter.
This allows groups of all three to become really effective when fighting in the Wilderness – although there are also disadvantages with grouping. Sometimes you team mate my go against you, and kill you in battle, or, when you do kill someone in group, you can’t seem to share the loot equally.
There’s also another rule of PKing. If you are in The Wilderness, and you attack someone (not if they attack you) you gain a skull above your head. This means that you’ve aggressed on someone, meaning you’ve attacked them. If you then die with the skull on your head, you lose all of the items in your inventory (bar one).
If someone attacks you, and you die, you’ll keep the three most valuable items in your inventory.
There are some cool things about The Wilderness too, for example the strong monsters you can find in it. The Wilderness contains some of the wildest, most fierce some monsters in the game, for example, Green Dragons, and Giants etc. It is arguable one of the best places for combat training.
Overall, The Wilderness is a very exciting part of Runescape, and should be tried by all (even the pacifists of you all!) You can risk losing items, but it doesn’t matter, it’s worth it for the fun!
