The Dwarven Tunnel is just a little shortcut from Catherby to Taverley, or vice versa. You must have completed the Fishing Contest quest (very easy) to use it. Using this tunnel saves time, because you don’t have to go on the long and confusing White Wolf Mountain.

One entrance is just north of Catherby, and the other entrance is south-west of the Heroes’ Guild.
When you are at either of the two entrances, climb down the stairs and then you will end up in a tunnel.

There is a bar in the east part of the tunnel, and lots of dwarves. Khorvak, a dwarven engineer invites you to have a dwarven stout.
There are a total of 3 respawns on the tables in the bar. A dwarven stout adds +1 to your mining and smithing level.
Just to the east of the bar, we have mine cart rides! Speak to the Cart Conductor, and you can buy a ticket to Keldagrim for 100gp, or 75gp if you are wearing a Ring Of Charos (a). This cart is used in the Giant Dwarf Quest, and you can only ride it after you start that quest. You can also see the mine cart in the dwarven mines.

He tells you that you need a spirit wolf to scare the creature upstairs away, and asks you if you want to learn the arts of summoning. He tells you to bring two wolf bones. If you don’t have them, head to the White Wolf Montain nearby and search the dead assistant lying on the ground to get the bones (alternatively, you can kill a wolf and pick up its bones). [map]

7. Talk to Pikkupstix. Then go downstairs to the cellar, and right-click on the Obelisk to renew your summoning points. Then, go back and talk to Pikkupstix again. He gives you the ability to use the summoning skill, and you have completed the quest. Congratulations!

The player kit update brings you a whole new selection of outfits and customisations for your character that you can choose from. If you have ever felt the need for a new set of clothes or a funky new hairstyle then you will be pleased to know that you can now visit Thessalia in Varrock and the Hairdresser in Falador to add that special touch to your appearance. Members can also visit Reinald in Keldagrim for a new selection of armguards! Runescape
At Thessalia’s clothes shop, you will find a new range of styles for both men’s and women’s clothes, ranging from the highly tailored princely outfits down to the ragged clothing of the local peasantry. Visiting the Hairdresser in Falador, you will be able to sculpt your hair into fascinating new styles including braids, ponytails and more. If you are of the male persuasion, give yourself a fancy new beard or moustache style such as the ‘Vizier’ or even the ‘Dali’! Reinald offers a range of designs for your wrists, in both silver and gold, so you can accessorise to go with your favourite clothes.
Most importantly, it can be a hard task to find the right clothing fashion and hairstyles to suit you, so for the first week Thessalia, Reinald and the Hairdresser will allow you to change your kit for free! Runescape Gold
We’ve updated the “Trade” tab at the bottom of the screen. While you’re trading with someone, that tab will now display chat messages from your trade partner. This ought to make trading a little easier in crowded places!
Multi-target Ancient Magicks will now work against multiple players when fighting in a player-owned house combat ring.
Our Graphics team has been working hard on fixing a whole range of graphical glitches. They’ve fixed a huge number of trees that had recently started hovering above the ground, although we’re aware that there are plenty more trees awaiting their attention. They’ve also fixed some buggy models, such as the slightly transparent Guthan chainskirt and the gnome goggles’ strap that was changing its colour depending on the owner’s hair colour!
Finally, although it was not meant to be possible to kill oneself by eating the Recipe for Disaster rockcake, determined players had still achieved it by spam-clicking. Since we don’t really need any more accidental deaths-by-rockcake, we’ve updated that rockcake to ignore spam-clicking.

Runescape first of April’s updates seems to attract abbreviations: F2P, PvP, OMG - all of these could be used to describe Fist of Guthix, our next combat minigame. We could say that this will be a safe, single-way, Wilderness-based game available to both free players and members, but that would ignore some important details. Attack strategies, defensive tactics, well-timed escapes: Fist of Guthix will employ all of these to create a memorable combat minigame.
A nod must be given to the website updates. The Grand Exchange Database will be released this month, having had its image issues resolved, displaying graphs and statistics of Grand Exchange market prices. There’s also a Summoning guaranteed content poll, the latest Players’ Gallery and the Postbag from the Hedge.
Runescape Gold - There is a massive range of rewards to win for playing Fist of Guthix, so we’ll give you a wee teaser. The rune berserker shield, like most of Fist of Guthix’s rewards, degrades with use, but it also offers you some hefty defence bonuses and a Strength boost; the battle robe set will sometimes pay for mind, chaos, death or blood runes that you use when casting a combat spell; and the Runecrafting gloves will double the experience you gain from crafting runes of the glove’s type!
Talking of rewards, where could you possibly find a top hat, animal mask, adamant cane and black crossbow? It could only be the Treasure Trails, and this month will bring our next installment. Among the new weapons, clothes and hats will be some brain-twisting new clues to untangle, ranging across the medium and hard difficulties.
It is at this point in the month that the skies will darken, a fog will descend and a bloodcurdling scream will echo out. What could bring on this strange and eerie change? Ah, it must be the fourth in our Myreque quest series: Legacy of Seergaze! With no help forthcoming from Misthalin and vampyres continuing to collect their scarlet tithes, the Myreque have been calling on mercenaries to aid their cause. Meanwhile, deep in Paterdomus, Drezel has found something strange that could shed light on Morytania’s gloomy past…
Not so gloomy are the graphical improvements to the Morytania entrance area and the icefiends of RuneScape. Expect Paterdomus temple and its grounds to become more grand and foreboding, and the icefiends a sight more icy and fiendish.

Runescape,Runescape Gold,Runescape Money,Buy Runescape Money
The following are some tips to earn some easy money:
(1) Through mining
-PART 1-
Get your mining level to lv115 1st,
If your going for the easy way,
Get your mining level to 60 (mine only irons)
You’ll have about 7822 iron ores
You can sell your iron ores for 100gp each and that’ll earn you around 770k-800k
-PART 2-
If you’re going for the tougher task,
Like in part 1,get your mining to 15 but after 30 start to mine coals
From my calculation:
The iron ores between level 15-30 + coals between lv30-60 will let u make this amount : 780k to 950k (If u sell the iron ores for 100gp each and coal for 150-180gp each)
Notes: Remember to change your pickaxe whenever the requirements hits, this’ll help a lot as the speed for getting ores will be faster..
Notes: As you get to level 60 mining, you can go ahead n proceed to the mining guild to get more ores…
Notes: Smithing wont be so much of earning when it’s below 70, after 70 you can make more then 20k at once easily…
-PART 3-
You can also earn easy money through ores but u need starting money, just around 100k will do..
All u have to do is to buy coal(example) 100-120gp each from people and sell it at a higher price (example:150gp each for 1-500 coals,180gp each if u have tons of coals)
(2)Through Magic
-PART 1-
The best way for making money in magic perhaps is through runecrafting…
The higher the level of runecrafting, the more money you’ll obtain…
For starters: The Best way is to runecraft air runes…
Air altar is located outside south of the entrance to falador and a bank is near.
You can try to sell the air runes for 15-20gp each which most of the rich guy buy them at…
-PART 2 & PART 3-(Tips tat need a lot of money)
2nd way is to get a capital of at least 220k..
All u need to do is stay in the runes shop and buy runes
Buy chaos and death runes and proceed to world with a larger population to sell your runes (chaos 120-150gp each, death-260-300gp each)
REQUIREMENTS FOR PART 3: Level 55 magic level
This tip also requires money because you’ll be buying rune med for high level alchemy
Buy rune med from player 10k each and nature rune 200-300gp each
After high level alchemy you’ll obtain 11520gp,you will get 1220 or 1320gp more profit for each high level alchemy…
(3)Through woodcutting
-PART 1-
Woodcutting is perhaps the easiest money earning skills to train on.
All you need is chop till your woodcutting gets higher than 60.
Once u reach level 60-woodcutting, you’ll have like 4056 willows…sell them for 30gp each n you’ll get between 120k -122k of cash.
At level 60 woodcutting, you can start to woodcutting yews but it’ll be quite slow so u need to put in some effort to get yr woodcutting level higher for faster yew logs.
Sell your yew logs between these ranges: 300-375gp each
-PART 2-
Again, this part is about Merchanting.
All you need is money of 250k or more.
Buy yews from other players at 250gp each and sell others for more like 300-375gp each
-PART 3-
If u happens to be a member, it’ll be great for you.
You can fletch your logs to make more money.
When u can fletch yew logs, try to high level alchemy them you’ll gain quite a big amount of money rather than selling them to shops.
———————————————————————-
You can also make money by buying rune plate bodies for 60-70k and selling for 80-90k
Thanks for Dr.monstaa

Well for many players of Runescape there are two main desires; one is to be very skilled; two is to be very rich. Now developing skills takes time but becoming wealthy in the game of Runescape doesn’t necessarily require you to be a high level. So how do the majority of players go about gaining Runescape Gold?
Well for most it is a method of playing the game and working out how to make money by developing skills that can earn good amounts of Runescape money in comparison to the time invested. For others they have developed a keen sense of the Runescape markets and managed to provide a service of buying and selling major raw and processed materials that are in high demand and supply. This means of making Runescape gold is referred to as merchanting and loads of information about how to go about earning gold in this way can be found in free Runescape gold guides that are on many Runescape fan sites and forums. Even with the availability of free Runescape gold guides there are also many Runescape gold guides for sale on the internet, though from my experience none are really worth the money if you have been playing for a couple of months and have reviewed a few of the free guides to making Runescape gold on Runescape fan sites and forums.
Buying Cheap Runescape Gold
The increasing alternative that many Runescape players appear to be opting for is buying cheap Runescape gold from online gold selling stores. These Runescape gold sellers sell millions of Runescape gold for real world money. Whilst this is in breach of Jagex’s terms of use it hasn’t stopped the sale of Runescape gold from such stores continuing. According to many this industry of MMO gold selling, including games like Runescape, is now a multi-million dollar industry with an estimated half a billion dollars worth of sales for the 2005/2006 financial year.
Whilst I don’t support players buying Runescape gold, it is obviously a growing option but the big question of whether it is worth it is dependant on your position within life and in Runescape. I mean if you have a full or part time job and are looking to really start enjoying Runescape without spending the first few weeks of your Runescape career scrapping together a few thousand Runescape gold pieces to buy yourself iron amour; then for as little as $10 you could get yourself a million Runescape gold pieces and be well onto your way to really leveling some of those skills and building your own ability to earn Runescape gold via playing the game.
Alternatively if you are already a fairly experience player with a 100k in your bank, you might be well advise to look into some of the free Runescape gold making guides available to turn that 100k into a few million. Either way I’d probably properly research the ways of making Runescape gold from free fan sites and guide sites before I headed off to buy a Runescape millions guide or one like it.
Can You Make Runescape Gold by Buying Runescape Gold?
Now again whilst buying Runescape Gold is against Jagex’s terms of service, the are a number of individuals that I know of personally that have benefited greatly from investments in purchasing Runescape Gold for real world money. How? Well not so long ago they purchased a few million Runescape gold from a gold seller and purchased all the rares that they could afford then sat on their rares for a few months and sold them 9 months later for a HUGE real world money profit. There are little industries anywhere in the world that you can almost be certain of 300 – 400% return on your investment every passing year, but Runescape rare items are such an industry, without fail every year Runescape rare items have increased in value and with that increase so has there real world value, and with each Runescape million gold pieces being worth $5 - $10 in the real world market there have been people that I have literally made $1000’s from selling their Runescape items when they quit the game. You can’t get those sorts of returns on the stock market. So as some have already proved spending a little money in an investment is a great way to make a little money.
Please note that we don’t recommend doing this and there are some inherent uncertainties involved not to mention is against Runescape’s rules but that hasn’t stopped other from trying and actually making large amounts of Runescape Gold and real world dollars doing it.

Friendly Greetings! If you’re looking for a bit of fun, the Runescape Hunter skill is just for you! I started hunting when the skill first came out. It was quite exiting. The thrill of another kill they say, Haha. To me, Hunting was for fun, and my level really didn’t matter. However, as time went on it did indeed get higher and higher. After staying out in the wilds for many weeks, I eventually moved on. But this skill is by far my favorite.
Let’s talk about how to get started. I wandered around for a good hour or so in the beginning trying to figure out what to do. The first thing I hunted was Polar Kebbits. They are north of the entrance to Keldagrim. At level 23, you can hunt Wild Kebbits. As I said, I spent many weeks out in the wilds, there were quite a few different things you could hunt there, and usually I would have some Deadfalls and Bird Snares up. Other times I would box trap ferrets and then use them to catch rabbits. When you start, you will have to track. It’s not my favorite type of hunting, but still fun. You can put bait on your traps if you want, Usually I put the raw birds I got from the bird snares on the Deadfall traps.
If you have completed the Eagles’ Peak Quest, you can hunt Ferrets. You can use the Ferrets you get to flush out the rabbits into the snares. Catching rabbits is tricky, because you never know what hole they are going to pop out of. Eventually you will master catching the rabbits and be off on something else.
One of my favorite parts of Hunting is the outfits you can make with them. You can truly live out in the woods and never have to go to the city. (Except to make the clothes of course.) All you need is an axe, maybe a couple traps, and a Tinderbox. Other than that, everything you would need is out in the wilds. Food you can get from the animals, their furs for clothes, and chop your own wood! In my opinion, the best outfits are the Larupia and Kyatt. Not even dragon armor is as cool as that, Haha.
If your level 71 hunting and you are looking for something useful, Imps are the way to go! As long as you are not past the level 30 wilderness line, Imps can take two objects (or two stacks of objects) from your inventory to your bank! This could come in very handy.
Falconary is a load of fun. Out in the wilds you can pay Matthias 500 gold to rent a falcon. You can use these falcons to fly out and get a Spotted Kebbit, a Dark Kebbit, or a Dashing Kebbit. These can be turned into capes or gloves.
To hunt using pitfalls, you will need some logs, a Knife and a Teasing Stick. First, find an empty pit. Use the logs on it, and you will set the trap up. Now take the teasing stick and tease the Larupias, Horned Graahks, or Saber-toothed Kyatts. They will begin to chase you. Jump over the pit and hope that they fall in. Sometimes These animals will catch you before you can make it over, so you may want to bring some food, especially you lower levels.
Now that you know a little about Hunting, get out there and try it, and remember Hunting is a great skill. If you make it too serious, it will loose its purpose. So instead of worrying about experience and such, just Have fun with it!

Runescape Summoning
The Runescape Summoning skill was unleashed the 15th of January 2008. It is Members-only. It’s a fairly new skill, I have tried it…, but it was not my favorite. The basic idea is to be able to Summon beings called Familiars using different items. These Familiars can be used for many different things, according to which you summoned. A lot of them can be used for helping in attacks. If you have 10 levels over the Familiar that you summoned, you can talk to it! With some exceptions, of course.
Summoning Pouches are used to summon the Familiars. You have to have a lot of materials to summon a Familiar. First, you will need an empty pouch. Then the number of Spirit Shards needed to summon your particular familiar, a Charm, and the component needed to summon your particular Familiar. I buy my Sprit Shards and Pouches from Pikkupstix in Taverly. Charms are best gotten
If you wanted to make a Summoning Scroll to have your Familiars use their special moves, you would need to make a complete Summoning Pouch, and then use it on an obelisk, and it would turn your pouch into 10 scrolls. There are seven different types of specialties, Fighting, Light Enchancers, Skill Boosters, Remote Views, Beast of Burden, Heals, and Foraging.
Fighting of course means your Familiar with fight along your side (only in multi-combat areas.)
Light Enhancers will make any light that you are holding (candle, lantern, so on) brighter.
Skill Boosters make your skills go up, simple enough, right?
Remote View, now this is an interesting one. They can fly up and let you see through their eyes thus having a “bird’s eye view”.
The Beast of Burden specialty is able to carry items. Healer, of course heals you.
Foraging will find different items every now and then; it can carry 30 of the items.
Pets are a fun addition to this skill. If you have ever seen the cats that follow people, these are a lot like them. There are many different types of pets. From a Bulldog to a Giant Crab to a Zamorak Hawk to a Baby Dragon! The Cats are not classified as pets. You will have to complete the Wolf Whistle quest to get any pets. You ARE allowed more than one pet. You have to have 10 levels above the last one to get Say your level 12 summoning, then you’re allowed 2 pets. However, you cannot have 2 of the same pets. Therefore, if you have a Saradomin Owl, you cannot have another Saradomin Owl.
You can store scrolls in “headdresses”. Some Headdresses are not Summoning Specific, so you will have to go to Pikkupstix to get them enchanted, for free I might add. Some Headdresses Include: Antlers, Feather Headdress, Rune Full Helm, Any Fremennik Helmets, and Dragon Medium Helm. Headdresses can be very helpful in situations where you have to act fast. They can also be useful when you have to save room in your inventory.
As I said above, personally this is not a skill that I am interested in. However, for a lot of people, this is good fun. (I would not want to meet someone in the wilderness with a Familiar by their side, I can tell you that.)

Prayer can give you a huge advantage when facing even the meanest of enemies during combat. It can come in handy if you need an extra burst of strength, a moment of being invincible to magic, or even a faster healing time! Since there are so many things it can help with, Prayer is a skill worth getting better at, even though it can be quite tedious at times.

The Basics
When you pray to the Gods of RuneScape, they will help you by making you instantly stronger, or un-affected by a foes’ attack, depending on the prayer that you use. To use more prayers and to make them last longer, you should bury bones which are dropped by many monsters throughout RuneScape.
You can find a graphical prayer list by clicking on the silver-colored symbol located to the right of the game screen. It will tell you which prayers you are using, the ones that you can use, and any ones that you can’t use yet. To activate a prayer just click on the one you wish to use, and to de-activate it just click on it again.
Colored-in Icon: This means that you have enough experience and are a high enough level in order to use the prayer.
Lit-up Icon: The prayer is in use and will continue to drain your prayer points until you stop praying.
Blacked-out Icon: You’re unable to use the prayer until you reach the required prayer level.
You can use more than one prayer at a time, but your prayer points will drain faster if you do. When your points drain down to 0, you will be unable to use any prayers until you recharge at an altar. Altars can be found in many churches around RuneScape. They can also be built in the Chapels of Player Owned Houses.
Stat-Boosting Altars
Some Altars will provide you with extra Prayer Points if you pray at it while you have full prayer points (ie: 30/30). There are currently two known Altars that posses this property:
The Altar upstairs in the Prayer Guild adds 2 Prayer Points.
The Nature Shrine in Mort Myre Swamp, which you gain access to after completing the Nature Spirit Quest, adds 2 Prayer points.
——————————————————————————–
Bones
By taking a short walk through the town of Lumbridge, you could most likely find a backpack full of bones, but you may have more luck by killing monsters for them. Many monsters and NPC’s that you can fight will drop bones, but others will not drop any. There are also different kinds of bones you can find, depending on the enemy.

Ghasts
Another good way for Members to gain Prayer experience is by killing Ghasts in the Mort Myre Swamp. After starting the Nature Spirit Quest, you are able to enter the swamp, but you should first complete the quest and receive a Druid Pouch to fill with ‘Natures Harvests.’ This will cause any Ghasts that attack to become visible so that you can kill it. Defeating a Ghast will give 30 experience to Prayer.
Shades
By burning the remains of the Mort’ton Shades, you’ll receive Prayer experience. First you need to complete the Shades of Mort’ton Quest. Then you can cut some logs and pour some Sacred Oil on them. Kill a Shade and use the logs on 1 of the Pyres around the village. Place the remains on the Pyre as well, and light it with a Tinderbox. More info can be found in the Firemaking guide.

One of the main reasons for burning shades is for the purpose of obtaining keys for the Mort’ton Dungeon. Inside, you’ll find various doors which require a different key, and inside of those rooms will be a chest; some of which contain Fine Cloth, used in making Splitbark Armor.

Ectofuntus
After completing the Ghosts Ahoy Quest, Ectofuntus can be used to gain more Ecto-tokens and Prayer experience. Ecto-Tokens can be used for many things inside Port Phasmatys, and you’ll receive experience for worshipping the Ectofuntus. The Prayer experience earned for worshipping the Ectofuntus is four times the normal experience received when just burying them.
But before you head off to worship this slimy structure, make sure you have Pots, Buckets (enough for the number of Bones you are bringing), Bones, and an Amulet of Ghostspeak. The Ectophial is also handy for teleporting from the Pool of Slime to the Ectofuntus.
Speak to the Ghost Disciple and ask about Ectofuntus. Climb down the trapdoor to the west and continue downwards until you find a Pool of Slime. Fill your buckets and head back up to the temple. Grind several sets of bones in the bone Grinder upstairs. To do this, use them with the machine, wind it up, and then empty each 1 into a Pot. Now climb downstairs and use the Slime with the Ectofuntus.

Multiple Prayers
You have the ability to use multiple prayers at once, although there are some exceptions to this:
These prayer effects don’t “stack” with each other. So you can’t use Thick Skin and Rock Skin to gain an additional Defense bonus.
These prayers can’t be used at the same time as each other.
Protect Prayers
These prayers will completely protect you from any monster or NPC attacks when in use. However, Verac in the Barrows has the ability to hit through the Protect From Melee prayer.
These prayers also have a 50% chance of protecting you from attacks from other players in places such as the, Duel Arena, Bounty Hunter, Clan Wars, and Player Owned Houses in Combat Rings or Dungeons with PvP Combat on.
When you have a Protect Prayer active, you can also use stat-boosting prayers, but you are limited to using one of the following combinations:
One of each melee prayer (Attack and Strength).
A Magic prayer.
A Ranged prayer.
Protect From Summoning.

Helpful Objects
There are many things that can improve your prayer, which slows down how fast your points will drain. Of course, you can bury bones to increase your level, but there are also items like robes, amulets and maces that can make your prayers last longer.
Amulets & Symbols
These items are worn around your neck and give special bonuses. They can also be crafted and then enchanted or blessed to bring out the special powers.

Prayer Books
Members have the ability to wield Prayer Books, after completing the Horror From the Deep Quest. They are wielded in place of a shield and will initially add 5 to your Prayer bonus, along with other bonuses depending on the Book of the RuneScape God that you choose. You can also perform Ceremonies: Wedding Rites, Blessing, Last Rites, and Preach.
Each book needs to be completed by adding 4 pages (belonging to that book) to it. These pages can be a Treasure Trail Reward, or traded from other players. Once you’ve completed 1 book, you can go back to Jossik and buy another for 5,000gp. If you happen to lose a book, Jossik will give it back to you, and any pages will still be there.
After you’ve completed a book and have level 50 Prayer, you’ll be able to bless the Symbols of the Gods. A Book of Balance can bless both Holy and Unholy Symbols, while the other books can only bless Symbols of the same God.
Prayer Books
Book & Picture Info
Holy Book (S) +8 to Defensive bonuses.
Unholy Book (Z) +8 to Attack bonuses.
Book of Balance (G) +4 to both Attack and Defensive bonuses.

Having Symbols Blessed
Both Holy and Unholy Symbols can be blessed in order to give a special prayer bonus when they’re worn. Once you have your unblessed symbol, you need to bring it to the specific person who will bless it for you.
To bless a Holy Symbol, bring it to Brother Jered upstairs in the Monk’s Monastery. To have your Unholy Symbol blessed, bring it to the Spirit of Scorpius, the ghost in the graveyard just north of the Observatory. Remember, you need to have already completed the Observatory Quest before he will bless your symbols.

Player-Owned House Chapels
Members who own a Player Owned House (POH) have the ability to build a Chapel, in which you may build an altar to pray at. You may also use your bones with the altar to receive some bonus experience, depending on the kind of altar and the number of burners you have lit. The values below show how much of a bonus you will receive when burying bones at an altar, in addition to the usual experience you would normally gain.
Prayer Experience bonuses
Altar Bonus Experience (No Burners) Bonus Experience (1 Burner) Bonus Experience (2 Burners)
Oak Normal 150% 200%
Teak 110% 160% 210%
Cloth 125% 175% 225%
Mahogany 150% 200% 250%
Limestone 175% 225% 275%
Marble 200% 250% 300%
Gilded 250% 300% 350%
So for instance, if you buried some Dragon bones (72xp per bone) at a Gilded Altar with no burners, you would use a math formula like this:
